Remarks
I have attended Andhra University before this college but with second opinions in my family, this college felt better at faculty and their teaching. And I felt the same. During the admission process, since I was availed for management quota, they gave separate counseling for us on the first day and they doesn't seem to consider ranks and it felt better as I could feel better and a little confident that I would be better.
Course Curriculum Overview
I felt through this course I could enter into different fields on basis of my skills. The faculty relation with students could be quite good if we could use them properly. All the faculty members seem quite good in their fields. Teaching methods were good as most of them feel well qualified but could be fast sometimes. With online, exams were held a little irregular and with given e-files to prepare online, and with jntu affiliated exams could be medium-level if prepared.
Internships Opportunities
With the pandemic lots of companies offered internships but they are online only and I don't see them as quite satisfactory to join. I think I need to explore more and new in my career and gain more experience and it's too soon to review as we didn't even get to start our projects yet. So with this review, I hope they might acknowledge what needs to change and make us better as they could.
Placement Experience
Either from 6th or 7th students could get campus placements. I don't have enough details about the companies but around 1300 offers were made every year. The highest package last year was 40L. But most of them were software jobs. My plans were to go into a job regarding my course and I want to see something different in this branch future.
Fees and Financial Aid
I don't know much about their complete fee structure but when compared to some of the other engineering colleges it seems similar and with limited seats, some branches demand many high expenses. They don't even allow fee payment in installments, even during the pandemic. As I'm a management quota student I wasn't eligible for any scholarships.
Campus Life
Still, there could be enough extracurricular activities for students to participate through fests in annual fests or tech fests. Social groups and clubs have their own websites with a lot of activities to participate in and learn how to manage them by joining as a member. Classroom facilities are good. There is large enough ground to play various games of interest, gym is a bit rusty though as they say it used to be great. The library is great and large but non-academic/casual reading books are less.
