Overall Review of VNR

Hello, I'll directly come to the point without any delay. Iam a Ece student in VNR and I joined this college through EAMCET.I secured 4k rank in Eamcet.During first councelling I didn't get Cse in VNR, and next prior college is GRR. But By comparing these two colleges I came to know that VNR has best faculty,good infrastructure ,hostel facility ,better placements ,sports.Since my rank is 4k I don't have any Tution fee but there is some minimum fee also known as university fee of rs 10,000. Coming to bcat seats annual fee is Rs 130000 per year. And it would be even high for NRI students and quota students during first year. It is one of the 4 top most colleges in Telangana. VNR is famous for its participation in International organisations such as IEEE.

I chose Ece because it has the advantage of going to the software and hardware sector. We learn the core subjects as well as the coding subject in ECE. The main reason for choosing VNR is its faculty. Student-teacher interaction is more in VNR. They briefly explain the topics without directly saying bookish content, which makes us feel easy about the subject. This teaching helps us to gain good scores in exams. Mid-exams are not much difficult and they are corrected by our faculty itself. For sem exams also the pass percentage is very high.

Different internships are provided to the interested students in VNR. Special classes were also taken for students such as full-stack development etc. Most of the students join internships in 3 rd year. VNR also supports the students with startup ideas.

6-semester students are eligible for job placements having an average GPA of 7.5 and there should not be any backlog for the students. Students with backlogs are not eligible. Every ear many MNC companies visit VNR for placements including Amazon, Google, Infosys. etc. This year's highest package is achieved in VNR i.e 97.6 lacks per annum. The average package for students is 9 lacks.

Since I came through 4 k eamcet rank I am getting full Reambesment. People who get rank below 10,000 are eligible for full fee Reambesment irrespective of reservation. And for Bcat students tution fee will be 1.3 lack per annum. And 10k university fee for all students including eamcet qualified students.The fee structure is different and is more than 1.3 lack for Management seat students.

VNR is famous for its clubs, social activities. There are different clubs such as christened(Music club), Art of living, Dramatrix, VJtheatro( Short films, story writing,direction etc,cinematography etc.). VNR students actively participate in International social organizations such as NSS, IEEE, ISTE, etc.

I stay in a college hostel and out of 5 I give 4.75 ratings. I really liked the hostel. The hostel fee is 1.1lack per annum. We are provided with high-quality and tasty food. There are many other facilities in the hostel such as a gym, and for each room, Altamira is given, a study table and a chair is provided, the cot is provided,we need to bring our own bed. Coming to food, daily the menu changes. Morning 8-10 am breakfast is provided. Afternoon 1-2pm lunch , evening snacks are provided, at night Dinner is in between 8-10:30 pm .
