Remarks
I chose this course mainly because of the placements and facilities provided at KIET and also because of the demand for computer science now. The best thing about B.Tech course is the way it builds students, and the knowledge they get leads to a job. I think there is no need to improve anything in this course as all things are already at their best. Events and fest organised are excellent as they are completely fun and relaxing from studies. Students get to show their talents. The scholarship facility is also the best. I am from the OBC category, and I got a scholarship of Rs. 52,200, which is really good. The scholarship department at KIET works very good and helps students in getting scholarships in every possible way.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty is well qualified all are phdians or iitians. Faculty student ratio is about 1:60 The faculty members try their best to teach the students. The exams were not that easy but they. Can be cleared easily.
Internships Opportunities
Most of the companies which visit here are mass recruiters. However, some reputed companies like Adobe, ColdNation, etc., also visit KIET, which offer huge placements. In 2019, those companies offered a salary package of 35 LPA, but none of the students was able to get it.
Placement Experience
Almost 100% of students got placed from the computer science branch. This year a salary package of 28 LPA was offered to one of the students of the CS department by Flipkart, which is a very great salary package. Generally, the salary package offered ranged from 10 LPA-12 LPA, which was provided to major students. The other salary package offered is around 4 LPA-5 LPA. Major recruiters here were Kellton Tech, HashStudioz, Absolutdata, American Express, Adobe, Arcesium, Lambda and more than 150 companies. Many of the students got internships as per record, and they majorly got through Internshala.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is not that high in comparison to many other engineering colleges as we all know how much BTech costs. Our college also provide many scholarship opportunities. The placements are also really good.
Campus Life
Facilities and infrastructure are at their best here. Wi-Fi facility is also very good, and the internet speed is very good, which results in a good platform for online work and projects. Labs are also very clean and well-equipped with the materials which are available in plenty so that every student could perform the experiment easily. Classrooms are completely air-conditioned, and the benches are also very comfortable, which makes the rooms very good. Hostel facilities are at their best, and regular cleaning and maintenance are major factors. The food served in the mess is also very tasty, and every student will like it as it's really good. There are medical facilities, and sports equipment is also available.
