Remarks

One scale of 1 to 10 I would rate the college 2.5. The management of the college is least cared about the future of the students.

Entrance Preview

The entry is directly on the basis of your 12th marks. A minimum of 45% is required and relaxation are given to SC/ST candidates.

Course Curriculum Overview

1

The course structure which is designed by KSLU, the university from where the college is affiliated is quite decent, but have lot of drawbacks as it doesn't any law subject in the first two years and important B.A subjects like History and Psychology are not in the course rest everything is average.

Internships Opportunities

No the college doesn't provide you with internship. Providing would be a very big thing to say they dont even help you in securing internship. One has to work hard on there own part to secure internship.

Placement Experience

1.5

The placement is quite decent as 70-80 % of the people who sit for internship get through. But expecting a proper job isnt happening. Because most of the companies which take students doesn't offer the job type one need to work. Following companies came last year-: Wipro- 3.2 lacs p/a, Accenture- 3.2 lacs p/a, Link legal- 6 lacs p/a, Icici - 2.5 lacs p/a.

College Events

1.5

There are lots of intra college event. But for inter college BILS conducts National Moot Court every year people from various part of India participate in this event. Other than this the college is going to organised a cricket tournament for law college in a grand way( because the sponsors are rich and are also the alumni).

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for 1st year is 73000 aprox. Which is really really high compared to the level of education and infrastructure. They take 30000 as voluntary contribution towards the society which runs the college (though its not voluntary). Overall the fees is very high compared to other colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

Nothing as such is provided by the college. One can opt for various bank loans. The college do give scholarship to the toppers of 30k which equal to the voluntary contribution only if you are a consistent topper.

Campus Life

0.5

If you are expecting a campus life this isn't the place as it just have a floor in a school building. The gender ratio is 1:2 i.e every two girl there is a boy. There are various committee responsible for conducting various tournament. The cultural committee conducts 2 fests in a year namely college day and ethnic day. The literary committee conducts intra college debate and essay competition. People from other states are generally sidelined and zero tolerance to ragging is there.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

There are no hostels for boys. They do have a in campus dormitory with both can be rated 3 in a scale of 10. There are lot of pgs in 3km radius and the average cost is 7-8 k monthly including food. Most of the students prefer flats which cost you 8-10 k per month.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni of the college is what makes it good they are very helpful. There many notable alumni. Though The college is least cared about opening an alumni bench to help the current students.

Exam Structure

Exams are conducted by kslu and so the pressure is on a higher side during exams but you get 20 days off before exam so chill the pressure (if you have 75% attendance). There are no labs and no extra thing is done by the college. The college doesn't even encourage students to take part in extra curricular activities.

Faculty

1

There are 2 permanent faculties both of them are exceptionally good, but no other teachers are good enough as hardly any teacher would be interested in helping you. Just one faculty is very qualified she is an graduate from ILS, Pune and LL.m from kent college of law. Rest all the facilities are from local college.

It is better to start internship in 2nd or 3rd year for proper legal understanding before a student graduates from the college. The college will provide practical knowledge but it does not encounter proper real life situatons.
