Remarks

Studying here is feasible, and it is also really good in terms of infrastructure. Definitely recommend that you study here if you want to pursue a law degree. And there are alumni who have achieved so if you focus, you can too!

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good. It is not too hectic, and it leaves you with enough time after your day to invest into some extracurricular activities. It does require some additional reading though, you need to keep up with the course regularly.

Placement Experience

4

Placements and job opportunities are pretty good after graduating from here. However, the main thing is that the college provides internships at many different places. Stipend depends on the internship gotten.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is changed by the university periodically, as per their needs and requirements. However, most of the students do describe it as having value for money and there are also a few scholarships available.

Campus Life

Everyone really gets to enjoy all extracurriculars. There is no discrimination between the girls or the guys. Also, a lot of the students enjoy sports and tournaments. Sometimes, they also organize quizzes.

Admission

There are a few academic requirements you need to meet for admission into the program like completing a 10+2 or a undergraduate education or a graduate level education with an average of at least 45% marks.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty is really good as well. They know what they are teaching and it is a really friendly environment. They are qualified to teach at the college and are forthcoming with the students. They give good lectures which are engaging.

Placement Experience:

Last year due to recession the placements were low comparatively. From semester 7 onwards we are eligible for campus placements. I do not exactly have the correct statistics, but all the students who tried outside got the jobs easily. Highest package 32 lacks and least goes upto 3 lacks per annum. Last yearpercentage of students placed is 66 and before that it was more than 90 My plan is to get a good job, after the degree and if I cannot get a good job then I will go for higher studies abroad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is not at all relevant, they are still teaching us subjects like c and electronics. For eg - in our 4th semester we have vb.net as our programming language which is very outdated langauge. There were also two language subjects - general English and additional language (hindi,English, kannada) which I think is kind of useless to learn two language in BCA.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements by the start of the 7th semester, and the internships by the 5th semester. Since Mangalore has many MNCs, most of the campus drives start with those companies. We have an average package of 18LPA and it varies according to each branch of engineering. Mostly all the computer science-related branches have 23LPA as their average and the core branches have 14LPA. Almost 95 per cent of the students get placed. The highest package has even crossed 50LPA.
