Likes

The jsslc has got bunch of highly qualified faculty who are very understanding and friendly
This college has perfect blend of practical world exposure and bookish knowledge
Many opportunities provided by college itself, such as national moot court competitions

Dislikes

Very small campus, the jss law college has a very small campus
The attendance issues here are a problem
Alot of written work is mandated here, unlike other colleges, jsslc students are mandated to almost hand write everything

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is quite good, almost all the knowledge which is needed for a student to be a good lawyer is covered. All the practical knowledge and bookish knowledge is taught in this college. Overall i can say it is satisfactory

Class Size: 1500Course Fees: INR 77000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

1st year Bba llb fee waa 73500 (19000 goes to jss mahavidyapeeta, and 54500 goes as tution fee) there will be two installments available for one academic year. SC/SC/OBC's will be given opportunities to apply for many scholarship after they are admitted in the college and based on thier cgpa's the fee may get reduced eventually.

Campus Life

Social life in jss law college is not that good, there are almost zero events happening here. But students focused on academics only can consider this college. There are usually more of formal events that happen. Many great personalities visit here as resource person for formal events

Admission

Amongst 5 law college in mysore, jss law college is the best law college i could opt for. If i had options of going outside of mysore then to be honest there are various other college but comapring it in mysore, jss law college is best

Faculty

The faculty of jss law college is THE BEST, all of them are highly educated and understanding as well. Speaking about the law teachers especially they all have degree in law with outstanding cgpa's!!!

Night Life

There is gym facility available, for girls and boys both. The library has 2 floors with over 17000 books. Hostel facility is great with good food. There is no cafeteria however but many coffee shops and cafes are available near by

We didnt have any campus placements coming to your college at my time. We had to look fo jobs on our own and most of the students went for higher studies however I have heard that the college has started calling small companies for recruitment purpose.

Q1. See with this college I had applied to Christ in banglore , I got both colleges in same time , i cleared interview in first round , i selected this college because we have very clear and practical exposure in this college , and the faculties were too good in teaching Q2. I was not rejected by any college ,all I had applied was 2 college one was this another was christ , i didn't choose christ because attendance was 85% mandatory and as a student it will be more burden ,but this college maintains 75% which is manageable. Q3.
