Remarks

I got admission to Alliance School of Law on the basis of my CLAT score as well as an independent entrance exam was conducted followed by a Personal Interview. I did not avail any quota for admission. Minimum marks required in order to sit for college entrance exams need to be more than 55% of marks in both 10 and 12 classes.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose this course because of my interest in the legal field and my eagerness to work for community support and enable common citizens with a legal perspective. Faculty: student ratio is quite adequate and also the college is a 24*7 campus so faculty members residing inside the campus are assessable any time possible. Teachers and faculty members are well experienced and well acquainted with appropriate knowledge and skills for better teaching and skill sharing. A total of 10 semesters are there and each semester is of 6 months also having internal exams also called DSA-During Semester Exams, in order to qualify for the end term 50 % for each subject is required.

Internships Opportunities

5

Internships off were provided by the university in order to intern. Internship totally depends upon the students whether he/she wants any support from the college or can find any internship on their own. Students have to present their internship certificates after completing the internship is also covered under one of the papers and marks are provided upon the same.

Placement Experience

2.5

Campus placement was good but need to work upon placement for the law department. In 2018 the total percentage of college placement was somewhere around 30 to 45% of the total passing out students and was not better worked upon.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is an annual hike of 10% in hostel charges but tuition fees remain the same as what is stated at the time of admission. College does have scholarship programs as well. In order to avail of financial assistance students have to connect to the admission department for the same.

Campus Life

5

The overall experience at the Alliance University campus was quite exciting and in reaching as the campus is 7 days working including the college library one can learn and grow every day with the environment provided by the university. Talking about the college fest and extracurricular activities the campus provides an activity center that takes care of all the activites including sports activities as well.

Hostel Facilities

5

The hostel comes with single, double, and triple occupancy depending upon one's needs and expenses. Some double occupancy has common washrooms which I never liked that much but since regular cleaning staff are assigned the management took total care of overall hygiene.

Interview Experience

5

Yes, an entrance exam was conducted by the college followed by a personal interview and group discussion. For admission, one needs to qualify in the entrance exam as well as the interview. After clearing the interview one will be provided with qualifier marks under which it will be stated that for what course one has qualified.

Placement Experience:

The placements of Christ University Bangalore, are pretty decent. Students are eligible to get placements for the 9th semester, and there are a lot of companies that come for campus placements like Shardul Amrchnad Mangaldas and Cyril Amrchand Mangaldas, Khaitan, Puviyah and co., Trilegal and etc. The highest placement that went last year was 23 lakh, and the average placement is 6-7 lakhs. My plan is to do litigation after getting a degree.

Placement Experience:

The university has a placement cell which is helpful. They help us get internships in which place we want (only if we are eligible). The placements are nice which are reported by the seniors. We got to know that most of the seniors had a starting package of 7L per annum.

Course Curriculum Overview:

A professional course with the best college fees is the main perks of this college. It is even a Joseph's College, which is one of the best colleges in Bangalore. We have certificate courses, outreach programmes, committee events, etc. The teaching method is interesting, teachers don't rely on textbooks but on activities, cases, programmes, etc. The cousre is not difficult or not easy, so it's moderate. If you study, you can easily ace it. We have to go for internships too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course for three reasons: read, write and speak. The first two I love and the last I wanted to improve. Law as a career gives you opportunity to learn these skills. The faculty student ratio is 1:60. Our batch of 180 is divided among three sections. It has trimester system, which means you'll have exam every three months.
