Remarks
The admission process was very easy. They only saw the percentage of marks we obtained in our class twelfth final examinations. After that, they took an easy test of verbal and normal maths questions just to check the aptitude of students. The test comprised of 20 questions of 20 marks On the basis of the marks obtained in the test and high school percentage the students were allowed to opt for different branches. Also, the senior professors were present at the time of admissions so that they can help parents to select branches. I applied for Uttaranchal University but didn't go there because i got admission in a college near my home. Proper counseling was also done so that students were not confused between the branches to opt for. After that proper question and answer round was there so that if students were having any doubts, they can clear the doubts by proper discussion.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose ece branch because there was a boom for this branch at that time Also i knew that ece students have both the ways to get a job that either they can get the job in their core field or they can get the job through coding also. Faculty to student ratio is also very good. All the faculties are very experienced and master in their own subjects. All the faculties have done MTech. Some of them are completing their PhDs. They have a good teaching style. They first make us understand the concept and after that they make us write down all the points in our notebook so that we do not face any issues during final examinations. Term exams were held after every six months. Between them, there were CTs and PUTs so that students can prepare and brush up on their concepts. It was very easy to pass the examination as most questions were discussed in the class itself. You just have to be attentive.
Internships Opportunities
Basically, there are not many companies that provide internship opportunities. Students have to find internship opportunities on their own but some companies hire students are they provide the training for 6 months. They provide a stipend of around Rs 10000 for 6t months and after that, they provide their normal packages on which they have hired the students. They provide you opportunities to work on the projects of the companies. You just have to learn all those things carefully. After 6 months of training, you get a lot of things to learn and you become capable to work on the live projects of the company.
Placement Experience
Although packages are not at the higher end you get equal opportunities to sit for the companies From the 6th semester itself students become eligible for placements. There are a lot of companies like TCS, Infosys, FIS Global
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is OK. The first year you have to pay around 117000 but up to last year, it comes below 100000. There is a scholarship for all the students who come from financially weaker sections but the student should be from UP only. Actually, I got a job from college placement itself but i didn't take it because I was having further plans for higher studies. The college provides lots of opportunities for on-campus placements as well as off-campus placements. You just need to grab the opportunity.
Campus Life
The life of campus is really cool. Annual and tech fest are conducted usually in the month of February Students get opportunities to showcase their talent. Also, the library is very good. You can issue any book at any time You also get equal opportunities to participate in sports programs They are conducted at an intercollege level as well as University level. I myself was a part of the college cricket team. You really get cool infrastructure.
