Women's Christian College has an edge over the rest of its competitors due to its collaborative programs with universities in abroad. It is one of the best colleges for Undergraduate programs in Chennai.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) due to my keen interest and passion for Entrepreneurship, Management and Human Resource. The overall strength of the college is around 4500 students with a faculty of over 200 people. The term exams are easy to pass if we pay attention during class hours and do our assignments on time.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 37000 per year

Placement Experience

During the final semester of the student, they get placed in several top institutions if not, they pursue higher education as per their choice. 40% of the students opt for job placements while the rest have other plans, a majority of them being PG courses.

Campus Life

The college offers a number of clubs like dance, drama, music, debate and so on for the students to join. There's one annual inter-college event called the Festeve and various other intra college programs throughout the year.

Admission

My admission was completely based on merit i.e. the scores I got for my final examination in grade XII. Due to the pandemic situation, I had to visit the campus only once for document verification.

Since it's a medical field after graduation many prepare for neet mds but students graduating from here have greater placement opportunities since it is a nirf ranking 2nd after saveetha dental college. 98 percentage of students are getting placed.

Placement Experience:

From the final year starting students are eligible to attend placements and all are eligible for it. The companies visited last year were faben construction, Shona construction and RR thulasi builders. Mostly all companies provide an average package of 15k per month. Nearly 70% of students get placed. Currently, I'm in faben construction and got a plan to become an assistant engineer.

Some of the popular companies visited like bajaj and tech companies like Zoho, Accenture and etc I don't know about package. Anywhere between 50%70 students are placed. I want to become an entrepreneur is my dream.

Remarks:

College management is good in many aspects. But they don't allow hostel girs to go out of the campus. Every hosteller has to reach their hostel by 8 :30 pm. Else they will be prevented from getting the hostel the next year. These are some harsh rules. The food is not upto the level in the college. One thing that is bad in our college is food. We can't get good food every day.

Very reputed college in chennai. This college come's under hindustan group of Institution and affiliated to madras university. Faculty are highly qualified in this college well mainted college, this college is overall good for pursuing a degree.

Overall rating of the college can be 7 on the scale of 10. As ground bis being used for some construction alternative option should be provided and lenience in the rules is being a dream of the students.
