Remarks

Campus is very huge and i personally like a huge campus with very less strength, because you can explore lot of people and of-course you can remember most of them). Also the campus placements are very good here.

Course Curriculum Overview

Regarding Course curriculum and if you are a non CSE student trying to get placed in a software/IT industry, then this curriculum didn't feel good to me because, other college students have DSA in their 3rd/4th semester for non cse background students, but we dont have and faculty is good enough.

Internships Opportunities

Not as many companies visit for placements will visit for Internships but significant count will visit.

Placement Experience

Placements statistics is very great here with highest package of 45CTC and also average CTC is more than 12-15. Most visited companies are from Software/IT side. Top recruiting companies here are Observe.AI, Microsoft, DE Shaw, Amazon, Razorpay.etc

Campus Life

Campus life is good. There are 3 fests in campus namely 1) Wissenaire, the technical fest 2) Esummit, Entrepreneurship Cell of IIT Bhubaneswar 3) Almafiesta, cultural fest of IIT Bhubaneswar and many interesting societies where you can explore your interests.

Admission

JEE-Advance is the only entrance test you can take to get into this campus (or IIT's). There is no other way without JEE you can come to IIT's. There are no Interviews/Group Discussion for that

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards companies visit campus and recruit students for internship. This internship season goes upto entire 7th semester. Many companies like amazon Deloitte cognizant and many other startups visited the campus.highest package was 42lpa and average package for computer science was 9 lpa. Around 70 percent student got placed.i want to get a good job in a good company.

I applied for geophysics and mining in ISM Dhanbad. But I filled my current college and branch above them. Also these branches are not very popular among students but as I didn't scored very well in my JEE advance examination, I had very few choices.
