IET Agra Review

I applied for KIIT in Orissa but was rejected the offer because of private college and was far and costly. I appeared for UPTU (Uttar Pradesh Technical University exam) and cleared the exam and was invited for the counseling process. One needs to deposit 20,000 for counseling and seat locking and later considered as your college fee if admitted either refunded back. You have to fill the college-wise branch of your choice as per your preference and you get college as per your rank.I was a general candidate so no quota applied. You must least 50% marks in 12th and PCM/B as main subjects and no such age limit for the counseling process. After counseling, you need to reach the allotted college within a specified period along with your all original docs. Once you reach college,there will be a room where admission is going just go to your concerned branch mentor they will tell you what to fill in the given form by college and make an affidavit if any required and deposited rest of 1st sem fee remaining after 20,000.

I choose computer Science Engineering because it was my dream to be a software engineer . In my college their is a healthy environment between students and facilities for learning. As they are eager to help after college hours too. The ration of students to faculty was not that good there were few faculties but somehow sufficient to manage all curriculum .The faculties are well qualified because they were engineers too and have done master's degree and some were doing PHD too. The exam were taken timely for no doubt three sessionals per semester , assignments ,practicals but they run bit slower than rest of they colleges . And the test not that much tough you may pass easily if you have studied well in class.

College made us available various intership opportunity like AI,Ml,networking by CISCO but we didn't get stipend so far to get stipend upon intership we need to seek somewhere else . The project that were done helped ud to grow as a person and as professional being , they also helped us to gain marks in our curriculum.

Fee structure was pretty good and relaxing because you need pay 74000 per year 70000 as tution fee and 2000 for 2 semester per year. They dont demand total amount at a time just pay half amount i.e 37000 for current semester. And those whole belongs to some special Quota use to get scholarship by UP government per year and no other stipend or money or scheme is offered

My campus life was not that much exciting but there was a lot to enjoy upon. My college once organised a fest called PRAGATI but only once. But there were always something going on like various competitions over college level. My library was full of all kind of books one can need during whole engineering, you and issue them and enjoy at your room. Class rooms were very good because they all are smart classes they have all latest tech in class a screen,projector,speaker , etc There was not much sports in college have bad minton,basket ball court and volley ball . There were a lots of social groups run by students to explore like robotics , dancing,coding,Entrepreneurship, innovation etc
