"IIIT Sri City Review"

When i was doing my counseling, I applied for Comedk colleges because I got a nice rank through which i can get top 3 colleges. I also applied for VIT Vellore but didn't select that college because of the mass population, and also I got a suggestion from a senior who just passed out from VIT Vellore that the college is not that worth to go. I was determined that I want either CSE or ECE. So, I started researching about iiit, because for a general candidate you must have at least 99 percentile to have CSE or ECE in the top 10 nits, which are actually worth to go. I am also a general candidate. The admission in iiits is also done through JoSAA counseling. I filled all iiits which has good placement and its own campus. I got this college and after going to this college, I am completely satisfied with its placement scenario and wonderful academic curriculum.

I chose this course because I always wanted to go into the technical field. The opportunities are also more than other core branches. I can also go for private as well as government jobs. The faculty: student ratio is 1:14 i guess. Faculties are very helpful and they also have done their Phd from different iits. You can see the faculties details on the official website. The curriculum of all iiits is very new and advanced. This is making them rise so fast. In offline mode, in a single semester, two mid-exams and an end sem are conducted along with lab exams. But in online mode, only one mid sem and an end sem is conducted in a single semester along with lab exams and surprise quizzes, and scheduled quizzes. There is continuous evaluation, so students must be attentive during the whole semester to get good grades. There is a relative grading policy in this college.

The college will help you a lot in finding a good internship with a stipend. Companies like Flipkart, Nvidia, Amazon gave internships to girls students to promote the girl's developer community. Nvidia offered a stipend of 50k per month. Groww offered the highest stipend of 61k per month. Generally, the companies coming to provide internships require the skill in AI/ML, Full Stack Web Development, and Data Science.

Placements are decent of our college. The average package of our college is 12 lakhs. The lowest package was 6.5 lakhs this year. IIIT Sri City doesn't allow any mass recruiters. The highest package this year was 43 lakhs. Companies like Swiggy, Nvidia, Amazon, Zomato, Limechat, SpringML, L&T Infotech, Deloitte, Capgemini, etc. visited.

The fees of the college for 4 years including mess and hostel charges is approx 13 lakhs. You are free to take loans and financial help from your state government. There is no fee exemption on any caste or religious basis. The college won't provide you with any type of scholarship. The college will help you to have a good internship with a good stipend. The college also has a decent average placement of 12 lakhs.

Life at the campus is also nice. We have good infrastructure but it is still under construction. Despite being a newly opened iiit, it is better than many newly opened iiits. We have a basketball court, we have gyms, we have classrooms with centralized AC. All the classrooms are built in a new pattern. We have an annual fest Abhisarga organized by the college every year. But due to the covid-19 situation, last year it was not conducted. The library is also good and spacious. It has a lot of books which can help you a lot during the whole semester. The washrooms and other facilities like wi-fi are also good. There are a lot of clubs in the college like technical clubs which include Gradient, Epoch, IOTA, ConnexIOn, etc., and social clubs like photography and film club, Art and literature club, Dance club, Music club, NSS club. Students also actively participate in these clubs.

Hostels are provided by the college authority. Girls and Boys' hostels are different. There are double occupancy hostel rooms. Mess foods contain mostly south Indian foods. You will get tea or coffee as per your demand. There will be chicken 3 days a week which is a good thing. You may sometimes get an ice cream party by the director sir. You can't take PG. Hostels are compulsory. Medical facilities are also provided by the college. In Sri City, there is a hospital and you will get a medical card for it from the college.
