Remarks

1. I applied for the college Bishop Cotton Women's Christian College and the admission was offline. 2. I availed of the general quota. 3. Minimum percentage to get admitted for the course was 60% and there was no age limit to apply for the course. 4. Admission was offline and the candidate was directly admitted if one has secured 60% and above and moreover if one is Christian they were getting the first preference.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

1. I chose this course as I was interested in the subject. 2. Faculty was not o good in teaching but they used to interact with the students very well and as per student ratio, there was an equal range of teachers as well. 3. They were well qualified and they could have changed and tried new teaching methods. 4. Once in six months there were Semester exams and it was not so difficult to pass, but I found the practice exams a bit difficult.

Placement Experience

1

1. In the 5th Semester students become eligible for campus placements 2. Dell, only this company had conducted the interview and my college conducted placements with this company. 3. 4 lakh was the CTC per annum, offered by the company. 5. In 100% only 5% were getting placed 6. I would like to work in a good company where I would prefer getting trained and learning with earning a good salary.

Fees and Financial Aid

1. Fee for my course was very high and they used to hike 1 to 2% every year. 2. I did not get any scholarship, financial assistance, I did not get many placement opportunities from the college, so I could not get any job opportunity from the campus.

Campus Life

2

1. Disha was the annual fest that was conducted in the month of October. 2. Yes all the journals, books and question paper of previous year was available. 3. There were pretty good amenities but classrooms were not clean. 4. There were conducting sports day annually and only one that day we could play all some sports. 5. There was Rotract club which was run by students with the help of teachers and other head staff, and also NSS and Red cross.

Interview Experience

1.5

1. I did not face a group discussion round, I faced an introduction round and I was asked some basic questions about the hardware of the computer. 2. For the interview process rounds, I was prepared from the online questions and answers.

It is better to start internship in 2nd or 3rd year for proper legal understanding before a student graduates from the college. The college will provide practical knowledge but it does not encounter proper real life situatons.
