Remarks

I wanted education for actuarial and amity is still now one of the most renowned for giving a BSc actuarial science degree plus the academic infra is great, admission criteria asked if my 12th marks were over 80% then I just needed to give a proficiency test comprising of basics of maths and economics along with logical reasoning which I qualified and then classes started with a smooth pace those who didn't have above 80 had to give an interview along with the proficiency test.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose the course to attain knowledge for actuarial papers along with overall grooming with IT skills. The faculty-student ratio is good cause I don't have exact quantitative data but for core courses, a batch has a max of 28 students while aligned courses have 100 to 200 as max depends on the requirements. All our faculties that have a Ph.D. degree or professional qualifications are very good. Term exam and class schedule are not pretty great due to covid but now it is back on track.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Right now I am not pursuing an internship outside college cause I was enrolled in the college's own rakhi center for excellence which provides community outreach and ngo work and we have a separate course for it here participation depends on what you are good at example someone with a great voice can record podcasts or go for our radio channel

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for my course is 3.56 lakhs divided into 6 sems along with an additional 20k as a security deposit. And there are scholarships as fee reductions for someone entering with above 95 % in the 12th class. as for other scholarships, our university is providing free education for those who lost either of their parents due to covid.

Campus Life

3.5

We have a youthfest held every year which has intra college as well as inter-college and inter University participation. It comprises of many activities ranging from quiz to dramatics to debate along with various sporting events. We have an e-library with an intranet so it has a wide range of books. Extracurricular and sports are amazing great sports field as for extracurricular we do have events every now and then with small scale to large we have an Arcadia where students can go in free time to relax. Groups and clubs are from cultural dance to quiz to editorial committees.

Interview Experience

5

As mentioned earlier I didn't have to go through a gd and had a proficiency test only and for that my only preparation was going through some logical reasoning questions, revising elementary mathematics and going through current affairs.

The curriculum generally covers core mathematical subjects that are essential for a degree in mathematics such as Calculus Algebra Differential Equations Real Analysis. The curriculum prepares not as much for real world. Most of syllabus was theoretical. We give one external exam and one internal like viva. Difficulty level is medium.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd rate the curriculum 4/5. Topics like programing and data structures are super relevant.it prepares us for tech roles, but could include more hands on projects and industry tools. More focus on emerging tech like Ai /ML would be awesome. Exams are semester wise and okay.areas for improvement: internships, coding challenges, and guest lectures from pros. Solid foundation overall !

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the faculty teachers and all the staff was very good and the faculty teachers of the science were very fabulous in education causes me to choose this course... The curriculum here was in terms of social interaction was ok but it was not that good for the future real world academic pursuits as their were not that much activities for the social appearance... In terms of course curriculum and teaching method this college doesn't need much improvements because it is much better according to teaching method , as the teachers were good in terms of teaching... The timing and frequency was having much gap between one semester exam and the other semester exam , so there were not much difficulty in giving exams according to my perspective...
