The course I wanted, was only offered in IITB. It is a dual degree course but students who want to pursue PhD or want to get into corporate jobs, can take an exit option after 2 years with a MSc degree.The tag of IIT is seen as important in any application you make after the program. While like other institutes, the course structure is a bit outdated and improvements to course structure takes place at a snail's place. Pros: infrastructure, campusCons: Academic pressure, Course structure.
Course Curriculum Overview
For our program, the faculty: student ration was more than 1. Nearly all the faculty hold a postdoctoral degree (majority from US universities). The term exams were held twice a semester and in between those exams, some professors gave multiple assignments or took quizzes. The term exams hold the maximum weightage so focusing on them was sufficient.
Internships Opportunities
I have secured multiple internship (3) through off-campus channels, but didn't sign up for the campus placements.
Placement Experience
The placements vary from course to course. for our course campus placements are very less or nearly zero maily because students opt for PhD or get a better off campus job. With right skills, you may land an off campus job easily as some of my friends have got it.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Scholarships are given. Further all Dual degree students are categorised as Teaching assistantship categories and are paid a scholarship of 6000/month. For this scholarship, Students have to help professors in teaching one course. For instance grading assignments and term exams answerscripts and all.
Campus Life
Techfest is the technical fest and Mood Indigo is the cultural fest. They are usually conducted in December when there is a semester break. The library is an excellent facility with loads of resources available. You can even request for a new subscription. There are lots of clubs and societies. The campus is also full of greenery. Bandhu is a self help website run by alumni for new students.

Admission
No. There was no interview taken for admission to this course. It was purely on the basis of rank merit list provided through the JAM exam.The jam exam that I gave was CY for Chemistry. Similarly, Students giving MA, Physics or Biotechnology can also enter the course.
