Remarks

Good teaching and discipline ranks this college good and this college has an incubation center for innovation. The teaching staff are good and friendly and helps to clarify our doubts and assist you and will guide you.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose mechanical engineering as i am interested into it. When I joined there I didn't know Tamil language at all but the teaching staff helped by explaining the topics again for me. Many of the staff do have YouTube channels providing extra information too. we will be having two assessment tests and students will be jumbled over the campus and the exam would be good if we prepare well.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internshala is partnering with our college a nd I have applied for campus ambassador program at IIT Techfest Bombay which is a performance based perks intership. The tasks are easier to do.

Placement Experience

The placements are good there will be a placement officer providing information about the companies.There are around 30 companies on an average.The minimum package of a student is three lakhs per annum and maximum package I have known is fifteen lakhs package per annum.I am planning to do master's in abroad mostly Canada.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The university offer scholarships and concessions to the merit students and students need to maintain there gpa or else if they have any backlogs they need to pay full amount and yes there will be placements too but most of them will be software based.

There will be fest conducted for two times in a year for sure and there will be numerous clubs for the students based upon there area of interest.There is a library with numerous collection of books and even soft copies.

Exam Structure

An entrance test will be conducted if you live in Tamilnadu. For people from Andhra Pradesh state marks of your Physics , Chemistry and maths of intermediate will be calculated.

Admission

No actually I haven't gone through any entrance tests as i have scored well in Maths , Physics and Chemistry in Intermediate. But there will be an entrance test if you wish to take.

Atmosphere and affordability

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students will be eligible without any backlog. Axis bank, Deloitte, zuilka motors , Maruti Suzuki I got offer letter from 2 companies Axis Bank and zulika motors Axis Bank offered for 240000/- per annum and zulika motors offered 300000/- per annum. Then I tried outside also I got even better package 420000/- per annum at Avias india manufacturer of stainless Steel and kitchenware. So I went with Better package I went for 5 months then I resigned the job for the higher studies

There are companies but the companies that were told that the good ones, they didn't come so much.. only a few companies that gave a package above 5 lakhs came in for my department.. the rest of them were either 4 lakh package or below it was not very good. even the 1 or 2 good companies that came tehy came for electrical.

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.

BSA CRESCENT, THE BRUTAL TRUTH

The affordability combined with the half-decent nirf ranking is what made me want to choose this college. One of the ther college i got admission from is Satyabama, which i didnt go through with is partly becuase of how strict the college is, and also because it is slightly more expensive than Crescent. Hindustan and KCG are some of the other i didn't go through with, the reason being their lower nirf rankings. I wasn't rejected from any of the colleges because i only applied to colleges i had a realistic chance of getting in. BS Abdur Rahman has it's own entrance examinations which are conducted 3 times. They dont determine your fees structure, but they do determine the course/department you get. the better you perform at the entrance exam, the more likely you are you get the course of your choosing. Overall experience in cresent school of law

I've visited the campus , it was greenly and peaceful ! And then fee structure was manageable and there is no extra charges unwanted payments apart from the tution fee !
