IIIT Sricity - On its way to the top.

I had always been interested in research area and IIIT Sricity is a research based institute. Also, I had contacted few students studying over there and they told me about the academic curriculum, placements, exams and the quality of education. Only bad thing was that it didn't have its own campus that time but soon after 1 year we got our own campus. One of the most important factors to influence me to opt for this college was that IIIT Hyderabad was its mentor institute and it was my dream to get into IIIT Hyderabad. I couldn't get into IIIT Hyderabad but IIIT Sricity offered same course pattern and on the top of that it was guided by IIIT Hyderabad. Admission takes place through Josaa after clearing JEE mains.

Courses offered are very advanced and the faculties are very well qualified. The projects were very innovative and not repetitive. We got an opportunity to become teaching assistant if we scored well and help juniors. Faculties are available to personally help the students.All of the faculties are passed out either from IIT/NIT or IIIT with a Phd in their respective fields.

Yes I have opted for internship. I got a summer internship in Celebal technologies as SQL developer. I also opted for semester long internship during my last semester in SpringML as consultant data engineer.

The placements have improved drastically over the last couple of years. In this year we are about to reach the milestone of 100% placements. More than 80 companies have visited already including the top MNCs like amazon, TCS, Deloitte. More than 160 students are placed till now in this year 2021.

Cost to study (4 years B.tech program) would be around 9-10 lacs including the hostel and mess charge. The tution fee is around one lakh per semester and the mess and hostel would cost around 25k per semester. I got a job in SpringML with 8 lpa .

We have an annual fest called "Abhisarga" which is conducted in March. Then there is also a separate technical fest "Techfesia". We have a library, canteen, playground, basketball courts, badminton courts, volleyball courts. We have inter-IIIT sports events. We have a number of technical clubs, photography club, dance club, music club, theater club, art clubs.

Just have to score well in JEE Mains. No other interview or written test required. After clearing the Mains exam, You can fill the college name in the Josaa form.
