Remarks
I chose to go with this university mainly because it has an A grade accreditation from NAAC and it is also among the best private colleges in Tamil Nadu. It was also located quite conveniently to where I am put up. Getting accepted into the course was quite easy since I had scored above the minimum cut off. I wasn't required to attempt any entrance test.
Course Curriculum Overview
I really liked the BBA course curriculum at KLU and how they incorporated practical aspects to it. All my teachers were highly qualified and they had master level degrees. Some of my professors also had doctorate degrees. In each semester we were taught by 8-10 faculty from different departments. We were often given assignments and the marks from these assignments would get added onto our final marks card. We also had to attend exams at the end of every semester.
Placement Experience
All of my friends and acquaintances from my batch have gotten placed in good companies. More than 80% of students gets successfully placed each year. Most of them were placed with an average annual package of 12 lakhs. The highest package that was offered was around 25 lpa . The most prominent recruiters were Cap Gemini, Cognizant, Morgan Stanley, GE India, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Each year my annual fees came up to around 35,000 rupees. On some occasions we were asked to pay small additional charges for club activities, outreach programs, etc. The annual fee throughput the 3 years remained the same. Our college did offer scholarships however, I was not eligible for it. Depending on their merit, some of my classmates got up to 100% scholarships.
Campus Life
KLU campus is always lively with various events, except for the brief time during exams. Departments and student clubs are always hosting activities like tech fests, conferences, cultural fests, etc. One of the most exciting event used to be 'SPARKS' in which colleges across the country would take part. Our campus infrastructure also was very modern with fully-facilitated classrooms and library.
