Remarks

Poormina university is certified as a great place to study where students not only get theory knowledge but a great exposure which is necessary for every college student. The admission process was all online. A student won't regret getting admission in this college because it's a place where knowledge is cherished. I gained great experiences and made amazing friends. Adding to this , the faculty is good and teachers make sure to concentrate on each student.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I always wanted to pursure Ba english in literature as it's a great opportunity for those who have interest in reading, writing and editing. This course not only opens great career options but also provide informative knowledge. Career opportunities like- content writer, journalist , travel writer, Author etc. Are available to a student after pursuing this course Talking about faculty The staff is well qualified and tries different teaching methods to make students understand everything with clarity. Weekly tests and vivas are another aspect which makes teaching more interactive. The semester exams were held at the end of semester where they provided as with good time to prepare for exams and teachers were also available to help us in that. Extra study material was provided too. Exams will be easy if you concentrate in classes and things taught by teachers.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Yes i have opted few internships which were provided by placement cell only. As I'm from Ba english in literature i went for internships in content writing at startups. The starting internships were unpaid but after that i got another content writing internship which was for 2 months and paid 8,000 per month for the same. The experience of both the internships was amazing and i got to learn new skills which were really helpful.

Placement Experience

4.5

The college provides internships after completion of semester in different domains which is really helpful in making a student ready for job purposes. Many seniors are today working with high salary packages and in good positions. The highest package salary is 10 lakhs P.A in Byju's. Theres high chances of a student getting placement from college only if they have a good academic history and yes you need to give your 100% during placement interviews. All the best.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There's no additional costs other than tuition fee, scholarships are provided by college if you have scored 80% in best 5 in your 12th exam. The college also provides with internships at the end of semester for students to gain new skills and get work place ready. Other than that placement cell of this university is very active. I got placed in Tata consultancy services with a package of 3.5 lakhs P.A.

Campus Life

5

The campus life is filled with happiness and excitement and all those things that a studeng should experience during his or her college times. Poornima university offers different diversities in sports, music , dance , and much more. The college also provides practical classss for hospitality students. Talking about my course there is writing club which is handled by our seniors and poetry club too where monthly competitions are held and they provide Participation Certificate as well as goodies and awards to winners.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

University provides rooms in different categories (Double occupancy, Common Duct Air Cooler with common bathrooms & Veg. Meals, inclusive of laundry, electricity & water) will cost a student for 92,000. Double occupancy, non - air-cooled room with common bathrooms & Veg. meals, inclusive of laundry electricity & water) will cost for 80,000 the pricing is same for both girls and boys hostel. If you are not comfortable in hostel then you can for a PG too which you can get near college locality.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course covers all the modern and traditional aspects of pharmacy. But the real world application seems a bit weak. There's less time spent of product making, introduction to industries, communication skills. But they do prepare you academically for higher education and compititive exams. Teaching methods could have been better rather than just recommending books and writing notes on board. Exams are held frequently. Students have to prepare for both theory and practicals including vivas. I chose this course and college because I had to stay here with my parents and b pharm seemed like a good career option.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

The curriculum here is inspired from IIT Kanpur and IIIT Hyderabad but most of the courses aree not relevant today like in today's world C language is outdated but they always teach everything in C and in ECE branch the courses are considered to be the toughest and maximize of them are not relevant today.

i choose b.com because curriculum was relevent to my aspect, the curriculum is preparing me for my future studies is good but it is quite outdated in terms of todays world, so i would suggest 1 improvement to it, add new chapters and remove old boring chapters from curriculum. there and 6 to 8 months of gap between each semesters and they are quite tricky.

I had given NEET in awe of getting into MBBS course but due to vast competition and less seats I could not get a seat. This option was budget friendly and also tempting. There is a lot of scope in dentistry and there is blind money without any risk of life .So yeah I like the course alot. There is scope for masters and surgery too.
