Remarks

Contemporary Business Issue is a course that is offered as a compulsory course during the first year. The aim of this supervised course is to create awareness about business issues through regular reading of newspapers, business magazines and websites, and relate those with the concepts that students learn in their courses. The course will mainly consist of presentations made by the students on current developments before the class. Students are also required to maintain a blog for knowledge sharing and for discussion of the issues among themselves.

i appeared for an all India examination CAT which was held in the month of December . i scored a percentile of 80.

Course Curriculum Overview

the course of this college is different from rest of the MBA colleges. The two-year fulltime PGDM program consists of six trimesters of around 12 weeks each, equally divided over the two years, and a 8-week Summer Trimester at the end of the first year (after 3 trimesters). The program has a total of 35 courses, 21 in the first year and 14 in the second year, and 1 internship course during the intervening Summer Trimester, with total credit weight of 108 credits. this makes the college the best and unique.

My Experience at Asian Business School.

Placement Experience:

So basically in semester 2nd we were prepared for our summer internship and in the month of april and may there were interviews for internships. In June and July we were on our summer internship programs imn oiur respective organization. After 2 months, we came back and within the start of 3rd semester the placements were started. Most of the companies are for marketing domain and finance domain.

Company visited - Concentrix, Justdial, Outlook, Axis Bank Approximately 10 students are selected altogether in the aforesaid companies. Placement department is not that active which is the reason of such a low rate of employment and job opportunities are not at all being attracted to the university.
