I gave various examinations in my 12th Standard such as IIT JEE, BITSAT, VITEEE, AIEEE, MHCET. I scored much less marks in JEE, AIEEE, BITSAT but I managed to score 83 marks in CET which was enough for a good engineering college at that time (in 2012). I opted for this college because this was in my hometown, and I wanted to stay there only.

No our college don't provide internships. During my 4 years of course, I haven't heard that any of our college student got internship anywhere.

If you're asking how many students were placed, i would say a lot. But if you're asking how many are satisfied/joined the company, i would say a handful. Placement department is trying it's best to bring as many companies as it could, but it is not bringing the company which every engineer dreams to work for. What I want to say is, the number of companies doesn't matter if they are not good.

Events are the highlights of our college. There are 9 events conducted in our college every year. 2 blood donation events, 1 annual gathering, 6 separate departmental events. I'm not including the celebration of independence day, republic day, SFILATA is the most attractive event conducted by textile department which features a fashion show.

Fee structure is slightly expensive as there are many colleges which provides better facilities at slightly cheaper rates. For first year the fees is 88000 plus 3500 for the uniform. And for the rest three years it was 92200 per year. The figures I mentioned above are all inclusive. Which includes parking, internet, library, sports, and etc.

I belong to general category so i was not eligible for any kind of scholarship. But yeah, our college offers various sorts of scholarships which are acceptable under government norms.

Campus life is so good in our college. No restrictions to students, huge lobbies, playgrounds, etc. Our college always secures a university coat in table-tennis. Also NSS group is also very active in our college. They never give up in encouraging people and increasing awareness towards nature.

Yes Alumni network is strong and very generous. Seniors never say no if we ask for help. Some of the senior students have their own startups now.

I got admission in JDIET via CAP round. After the declaration of the CET result CAP rounds starts. In cap round 1, I filled the online option form and submitted it at the respective authorized centre followed by document verification. As I was so sure about taking admission in JDIET, I gave it the 1st preference in the option form. After a week or so, the result of CAP round 1 were declared and I got JDIET.
