Remarks
I applied to this college based on my TS EAMCET rank. On the counselling day, I submitted the rank card and required documents like xerox copies of 10th and inter memos then the faculty explained the fee structure and facilities they provide.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I was interested in the study of electricity. The faculty: student ratio is 1:5. Experienced and well-skilled professors to develop student's skills and knowledge. We have industry experts visits for guest lectures and also have industrial visits to have some industry exposure.
Internships Opportunities
Faculty encourage us to apply for internships and also suggests students to different companies for internships. College also trains us to very prominent internships and mentorships like WE by Google. WE by Google program offered a stipend of 1 lakh a year.
Placement Experience
Generally, Placements start at the beginning of the 7th semester and the eligibility criteria depend on the company that recruits. Our college has a very active placement cell. Despite the pandemic, we have 70-80 percent of placements. Companies like Capgemini, Accenture, Sates street, SocGen, etc visited our college this year. I got placed in 4 companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course cost compared to other private colleges was low and the placements were high so it's definitely worth the money and effort. The college also provides various financial programs to support its students based on merit
Campus Life
The college has various departmental fests, annual fests, and other cultural and technical fests like Medhanvesh. All the fests conducted are informative as well as fun. The library is huge enough to accommodate more students at a time it contains all sorts of books ranging from academics to entertainment. The rooms are wide and well ventilated. Electrical and Electronics are very well equipped.
Hostel Facilities
In the hostel room, they provide a chair and a study table. Depending on the room size it can accommodate up to 6 students, every student gets their own shelf to keep their belongings. The meals they provide are absolutely healthy and tasty and include many varieties.
