Remarks

I have also applied for Jee Advance but was not able to clear it and also my rank in Jee Mains was not good for getting admission in any good college etter than GBU. To get admission in BTech we have to give the exam held by GBU. The exam is very easy in comparison to other colleges Entrance exam. Minimum requirement is 45%(Aggregate in PCM) in Class 12.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I opted for CSE because my rank was good and luckily I got admitted. In First Year most of the faculties were guest faculty. Every Faculty here is PHD degree holder. Almost every teacher I have studied are and were good. Student Ratio in our batch is 45 Boys and 15 Girls(approx.) There are two exams every semester, First one is mid semester and another one is end semester.

Placement Experience

2.5

From 7th semester onwards students are eligible for college placements. There is no data released by our college placements cell on placements records. Before COVID ara the placements were good. The highest package claimed by Placement Cell(PC) was 22 Lac/annum.(who knows the truth about it) Most of the students from cs/it brackh get placed as claimed by PC.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees here is quite high as compared to various government colleges out there. When I got admitted my fees was 52000/sem and there is no fees hike once we get admitted. Fees hike is only applicable for newly admitted students. Scholarship is provided by UP government if you are resident of UP. Another scholarship is provided by Government of India. You can avail scholarship if your family income is less than 2.5 Lac/annum. (One can get only one of the above two scholarship)

Campus Life

4.5

Annual fest for BTech Students is Abhivyanjana. It is held every year in month of October. Sports Fest is also held anually named Suryavotsava. GBU has a very big and well furnished library. Here most of the books and journals are available and you can borrow it for 15 days. Here in library you we can also take book related to our syllabus for upto 6 months without costing a penny. One of the best part about GBU is its infrastructure. Its one of the best in India. The classroom here is well ventilated. The desk are in Upside manner so the student sitting in the back gas clear view of the blackboard. There is social group and clubs in our college. One can get into those clubs by getting in touch with the seniors.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel rooms are just awesome. One room for one student. We get a high speed lan connection in our room which speed is upto 100 MB/s(literally). Hostel here is compulsory. Mess food is same Okay. Hostel + Mess fees is 65000/Year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course structure is good of btech but there there is only thing I don't like is that in btech course the subjects in first year are not related to career of students because there is physics, chemistry other irrelevant subjects present in first year but in second year the course become interesting and relevant. Curriculum is good and prepare well for real world applications. The exams comes frequently every month there is a class test but class tests are moderate on the basis of there difficulty level.

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

course curriculum is little bit out-dated, and improvements are needed in terms of syllabus. timing of exams are ok ok. so many assignments are given which is really hectic because their are deadlines to upload those assignments in google classroom. and one thing i hate about college is 75% attendence is must. due to this we do not get much time for our personal development.
