So far so good experience in this NMFC

I was an in-house student. I haven't applied for any other colleges. We have received a message from this college for the admission process about taking admission to degree college. We had to fill that basic form and pay the fees online or by visiting the college (first installment or full fees). All the other formalities of Mumbai University were taken care of by the college. The minimum criteria are you should have passed your 12th grade with a minimum of 35% aggregate or an equivalent course to take admission in this college. There was no counseling day but they will guide you throughout the process of admission and after taking the admission there will be an orientation program where they will tell you a brief about the course, college, and teachers.

I have selected this course as I am interested in management and marketing. The course will explain to you deeply about manegement, marketing, and organizational behaviour which is a must for industry ready managers. Exams are conducted in each semester timely. There are total six semesters. 2 semesters yearly. Exam dates are issued well in advance (almost one month before). Teachers start taking revision once they are done with the syllabus and doubt solving session are also conducted.

The college placement cell has updated us with lot of opportunities from internshala and companies like ejob Ocean online services LLP where the job was to source the CV through various social media platforms, screening the C.V., fix up the interview and follow up. The college has now registered all the students to internshala as it is one of the biggest platform for internships as it is essential to do internship in this course till the year end of second year.

Like I told you can apply it in second year in some companies. Yet, we haven't visited any company. There was a job fair conducted in the first year. But, I there were not much openings. The companies had only 1or 2 openings in many cases. I have not seen any high profile package jobs from our college for second year students but there may be in the third year.

Fees for batch 2020 is around 37000p.a. There is not any scholarships or quota facility in this college. You can apply for jobs in the second year itself in some cases as per the company's need. The college placement cell is trying to bring more opportunities for students nowadays. But there are only few openings. The jobs posted mostly for third year students.

NIRVAAN is our college fest. They were mostly conducted in December-january. But from the last two years we have not celebrated it. Still the college cultural committee has brought with various online events and competitions like friendship day where there was some amazing quizzes and english literary association had brought up with an interview competition with prizes. The college's best part is its library. It's on 8th and the last floor. Must visit if you're going to this college for any reason. It has various novels, magazines, newspaper, fiction books. There is separate sitting facility for teachers as well as students. The college also has nss unit and nature clubs.I don't know much about it yet.
