Remarks

I want to take admissions only in IIST, then I goes directly for college admissions to college and take provisional admission. After that The admissions process was done by m.p. board of councling. And I had selected for my valuable branch.

Course Curriculum Overview

About the course faculty that is great. Another some words I want to add that IIST provide SIG system which is special interested group. Which is great for students technical knowledge. I am a student of Information Technology and now I am in 2nd year. And I have completed C and C++ in that SIG. Now we are doing core java.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 65000 per year

Placement Experience

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. A lot of companies visited in IIST for placement offers. You can check to iist main website. About Highest placement it was 12LPA. And average placement around 3 to 5 LPA. My plain after the getting the degree to work in a PBC or SBC.

Fees and Financial Aid

In my first year of engineering, i have paid 55k . IIST take fees from students according to their marks in boards or in jee. And about scolarship, it was given by Madhya Pradesh govt. i.e. OBC,ST,SC scolarship.

Campus Life

IIST conduct many annual functions. And we celebrate every festival. IIST has a huge library, during academic IIST provide 8 books, 5 syllabus and 3 of your choice. You have to reissue in period of 21 days. IIST has it's own website. And about social groups IIST has a lexicon club.

SGSITS: JUST A BIG BRAND

Placement Experience:

At the end of 2nd year, companies like goldman sachs comes to take interns. For placements students become eligible from 6th or 7th semester. In recent years goldman sachs is the biggest recruiter, oracle and Deloitte have also recruited, other firms like tcs and infosys also come. Giants like Amazon and google have stopped visiting since few years. Last year highest package was 72 lpa to an ece student. Average lies around 8 lpa. In tech branch 70-80% students are placed. In lower branches 50-60% students are placed. My plan is also to get placed at a decent package after completion of course.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to get placed and many companies visits every year for placement and approx 60-70% students gets placement every year.As per my knowledge there is no company which has made no offer.Average package is about 6-7 lakhs per annum.My plan is to take good package from on campus placement drive.If I am unable to get this then I will try for off campus placement and I also want to do MTECH after graduating.

IIST-honest review

i had visited almost all colleges in indore, but for one reason or another , i didn't take admission there. 1. for example , at Acropolis , a very high JEE percentile was required. otherwise ,you have to pay a higher fee. 2. i couldn't afford the fees at medicaps. 3.in the rest of the private colleges, the syllabus , placements are almost same. 4.finallly , the main thing is that the college environment should be good , and In IIST the environment is good also they focus on extra skill development through SIGs. you can take direct admission here via 12th marks and also can apply in councelling via jee percentile you will get the branch according to your grades....Read More
