Review of DEI

I only applied to DEI for this course. I don't avail any quota for admission. Criteria for admission in this course are as follows:- Minimum eligibility for this course is a metric pass. There is a written and interview for this course. For written candidates need to secure 36 marks out of 120 to be eligible for the interview round. After successfully completing both written and interview rounds candidate will go under the counselling round where he/she gets the one branch of a diploma based on preference and marks obtained.

I have a keen interest in vehicles that's why I choose this course. Faculty students ratio is 20:1 approximately. Faculty staff is highly qualified and have deep knowledge of their relevant field. In this institute time to time evaluation take place. We have 2 midterms and 1 end semester exam. Daily home assignments, seminars and group discussions are held from time to time.

There are several companies that visit the institute to hire students some of them are as follow:- TCS, TATA, Mahindra, Volvo, TVS, Maruti, Blue star, HCL technologies and many more. Most of the companies take an aptitude test and then interview for selecting the candidates. Some companies review the final year project and then take interviews and select suitable candidates for the position.

In the final year one can grab the placement opportunity. Almost every student get placed from the campus. Many companies visits the institute and hire many students each and every year. There are almost 20 companies that visit the institute every year. The highest package is approx 15LPA and on average one can expect 3.5 LPA. Approx 90% of students got placed from the campus. I will work in the automobile industry after completing my diploma.

Institute provide one of the best education at the cheapest fees. The tuition fee is very low relative to other colleges in India. The scholarship program is conducted by the state govt in every year and they provide financial assistance to needy ones. Almost every student get placed from the campus in my course.

Institute celebrate foundation day on 31st January. On that day anyone can come and visit the university. Cultural fest, science exhibition, games, and many more activities conducted by the students of the institute. There is one central library in which they have more than 1.5 lakhs books, journals, research papers, magazines, internet facility, xerox facility. And several department's have their departmental library. Classrooms are equipped with projectors, digital podiums, green boards, fans and are well furnished. The institute has the facility for almost every sport and has a gymnasium hall as well. "Quantum Jugaad" is the initiative of the institute to run small enterprises started by the students for the students.
