TAPMI review

I have applied KJ Somaiya, GIM, GLIM, Fore, IMI, IMT, IITs, Welingkar, NMIMS, MDI, SP Jain,SIBM, SIMSREE and IIMs. I didn't avail any quota for admission to this college. The minimum CAT/XAT percentile is 85+ for us.

The course curriculum here is very hectic as students have class assignments, exams, quizzes, case studies, simulations, presentations, pre-read, placement related activities, resume building sessions and corporate and college competitions.

Summer internships are heavily inclined towards sales and marketing profiles and some finance roles. All students in their first and second terms are allowed to sit for summer placements and some students receive PPO as well.

Students are provided 100% placements here, for which interviews, GD, PI, written tests all start in the 4th term for PGP-2 students. All major banks and Fintech companies visit the TAPMI campus as TAPMI is famous for the finance domain.

Aspiring students can find a lot of scholarships based on their percentile in CAT/XAT along with their family annual income. Scholarships of around 2.9 crores are provided to the students of every batch.

Some of the famous fests conducted here are Atharva, Brandscan, Disha. These fests are the sole responsibility of student committees. All major festivals are celebrated on the campus like Diwali, Holi, Durga Puja, Onam, Ganesh Chaturthi.

TAPMI have 5-6 hotels assigned to male and female students from both PGP1 and PGP2 students. PhD students also stay on the campus. The campus is situated on a hilltop and is surrounded by forest. Sea beaches are 15-20 km from campus.

The topic of my moderated GD was Farm Bills 2020- Pros, Cons and Challenges. This was followed by PI where we were asked behavioural questions such as tell me about yourself, why MBA, which specialisation and why this particular specialisation and a lot more.
