TAPMI Review

I applied for GIM, GLIM, IMI, IMT, Welingkar, and KJ Somaiya. I converted TAPMI and it is my best convert so far. My CAT/XAT percentile required is 85+. Special advantage for students having 22 months of work experience. The process was organized and well-defined. we were intimated well before the schedule.

I opted for the course PGDM-Core where majors and minors are allowed to be selected in the second year of course tenure. Faculty: student ratio is approximately 1:12 which is quite good as compared to other B-schools.

Several roles are provided to students under internship which approx lasts for 8-9 weeks in summer where an industry mentor is assigned to the students to work on the project. Roles such as sales intern, equity intern, consulting intern exists for students here.

100% placements are provided to the students in all the batches here. Approximately 100+ companies visit TAPMI every year for recruitments which are from various domains such as BFSI, Fintech, IT, FMCG, Sales, and Marketing and Consulting.

There are many scholarships available to students depending upon their merit and family annual income. The fees hike policy and cost to study will solely be decided by college authorities and administration only.

Atharva, Disha, and BrandScan are some of the major fests conducted in TAPMI and these are completely managed by students' committees and clubs. Many industry veterans also take part in the events as guest lecturers, GD panelists.

All students are abode to stay in the hostel only inside the campus. The campus gates are closed by 11:30 PM and post that no one is allowed to go out or come inside the campus. Rooms are allocated on a random basis.

The topic for my moderated GD was National Education Policy for 2020. A Group of 5-6 candidates was in the panel for discussion and after that their PI was conducted by a panel of 2 interviewers. I prepared for interviews with my friends who were also preparing for the same.
