Entrance Preview
I took the UPSEE examination to get admission in the college. The interview process comprised of the head of the Examination cell of the college and me which consisted of some formal questions.
Course Curriculum Overview
This course has a wide area of research as well as interest of highly qualified humans to gather information as well as other expertise with lots of opportunities of growth in terms of knowledge , money and technology. Still the practical approach must be followed more as it has major impact on the skills.
Internships Opportunities
No, the college did not provide us with any internship. But we were allowed to have internships from other organisations which had a general stipend but the experience was good.
Placement Experience
The placements and job opportunities in our college are quite good as each student is provided with 100% job placement assistance and is provided to appear in a number of companies ,both in and off campus, if the student is eligible according to their criterias.
College Events
There are a number of events held at the college during a couple of semester which include an annual sports fest, a freshers party for the newly entered students and some other events such as blood donation camp, road safety events, debates, theatrical activities etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college offers an annual scholarship session in which each student excelling in academics is provided with a scholarship of varied amount based on the performance.
Campus Life
The gender ratio in the college varies all along through the branch courses. Talking about my course, it was quite exciting to see. The workshops, debates and other extra curricular activities are held quite often giving a feel of relaxation to the hectic schedule of college.
Alumni/Alumna
The experience with the alumni is not as satisfactory as compared to other institutions as the interaction between the current students and the senior students is hardly seen. However , sometimes it is found useful during placement processes.
Exam Structure
The exam structure is not quite suitable as it should be considering it to be a college examination. Still the labs are quite relaxing and quite well furnished making all the environment a chilled out place to deal with, making the student relaxed from a hectic schedule.
Admission
The first process was filling a form with personal details and the branch which I liked to opt. This was followed by the interaction with the head of Examination Cell Department consisting some formal questions like why was the fact that this stream was my interest instead of others.
Faculty
The faculty of the college can be assessed on some factors like their interest in the course as well as their qualification. Thus, the faculty of our college is good based on their qualifications but have a great interest in the course they have been offered for teaching.
