TAPMI Review

TAPMI admission process consisted of 3 stages, the 1st being a GD, 2nd a Personal Interview, and the 3rd being an English Proficiency test. My GD topic was: "Should OTT platforms be censored?" The GD was a moderated one.

Faculty to student ratio is 1:12, and all faculties are qualified with Doctorate Degrees. They also have extensive industry experience of working in major corporates around the world, most of them have even taught in Foreign Universities.

There are many companies that come for internships to T A Pai Management Institute, Manipal. They provide roles such as sales and marketing intern, equity research analyst, executive HR consultant, and many more.

Placements are 100%, and all the students across all cohorts are placed. The package offered is pretty decent with a good return on investment. 100+ companies all across the globe come for placements, last year the highest package offered was 25 LPA.

Hike policy is decided by the college authorities and trust. Scholarships and financial assistance are provided on the basis of academic merit, and family annual income. We have Doctor Ramdas Pai Merit Scholarship given to many students.

Annual Fest of T A Pai Management Institute, Manipal is BrandScan and Disha, which is a conclave of business leaders from major corporates around the world. They come to campus and attend webinars, and get a chance to view live projects of the students.

Hostels are provided to all students of T A Pai Management Institute as this is a fully residential campus. Faculty quarters are also present on the campus along with staff quarters. We have a facility for the night canteen too.

Yes, we had a Group Discussion round and my topic was "Should Over The Top (OTT) platforms be censored?" The was a panel of 2 faculty for the Group Discussion and personal interview, and the GD was moderated.
