Entrance Preview

I did not write an exam. I did an interview. I got the notification after the interview. It was a slow process I had wait in a line for hours.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum was interesting. We had a lot of projects and the teachers were strict about the deadline. We got to do many internships because of which I got an internship with Bangalore mirror. It was mainly media subjects with a relation to journalism.

Internships Opportunities

No my college did not provide internships. We had to go to other places to get internships for projects. It was fun searching for the internship because you actually get experience of getting an actual job.

Placement Experience

5

The college does have a career guidance cell. I approached the career guidance cell when I was in my final year of my degree. The career guidance cell had a discussion with me regarding my job interests and skill areas. They recorded my areas of interests and said they will try their best to help me get the job I like.

College Events

5

The events were quite frequent. We mostly organised festivals where we had to stay back and plan agendas for the festivals and planed fun activities to do. We called many radio partners. We got many sponsors like Thompson Routers. The events would go on till eight or so. For one our events we invites Prasad Bidappa's modles.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure according to me was reasonable we paid 45,000 for a year. I fell it was extremely reasonable for all the facilities you got including the festivals, labs, and for tuition. The students have the option to pay the actual fees for the lab and the tuition either in full or partially in instalments. Payable quarterly or monthly the full fees can be paid at the begging of the academic year.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, there was no scholarship or loan facility offered by my college that I know of. Actually this has been introduced newly after I passed out.

Alumni/Alumna

No it was not helpful. They collected money to join the alumni but there were no events to attend. I was called for the meet after I passed out but I couldn't attend it as I was working that time.

Exam Structure

The exams would go on for two hours before that we got to revise for half an hour. The exams were held at the end of every quarter. We got hall tickets before the exam. And in case we missed an exam we got to retake the next day we came. There was a one day gap between the exams.

Faculty

5

The teachers were very practical. The campus was also huge and we had a lot of festivals. We also had a media fest where the students had to create short movies and present in front of media personal. Mine was enjoyed by the media personal. I made a documentary on the slum children for the media fest, it was to promote and support them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is suitable for the modern age of teaching, the way of education is well balanced with projects, assignments, presentations and also notes .we have reading assignments where the faculty members ask us to read an entire book and give our review on it.the exams are quiet moderate and in my opinion teachers should use more ai tools as a learning aid which will be more effective for the students

Placement Experience:

From the last semester pass out we a re eligible for the campus recruitment for job or placement. So many companies visit us for the interview or some checking like , hero honda , maruti suzuki etc. the main reason for it was a low amount of budget is that get from this placement maybe 15 thousand let month ect. Only the company can take the students for it so the percentage of the students who getting placement will change in every year. My plan was to get an admission in the central government University for doing master of degree in History. And try the best exam called upsc.

Economic somehow teaches us how to manage in real world.. I can connect a lot more to real world while learning economics. It is a little too difficult to learn for sem exams. The sem exam is just in 50/70 marks.. The exam timing is 1 1/2 or 2 hrs.
