Anonymous's Review On Institute Of Engineering And Technology - [IET], Lucknow

I have applied for IET Lucknow, which is one of the topmost colleges of AKTU University. As I m from the SC category so, I got my desired branch(CSE) with a decent score of 340 marks in UPSEE exams -it's a state engineering exam. But from 2021 the admission is granted based on jee mains rank.

CSE is one of the most demanding courses in the future and this course also matches my interest level, therefore I opted for this course. Taking about faculties, so they are highly knowledgable with good teaching skills. They also helped their students for a day to day life challenges. Each year consists of two-semester having two CTs and end sem per semester. The end sem examination is of intermediate level in difficulty.

The college provides various winter and summer internships in the 3rd -4th years. it also prepares students for placement under placement training cells. Students were given various projects to develop their skills.

IET has a good placement for CSE and IT branches. Various companies visit every year like Wipro, TCS, BJUs, etc .around 60-70% got placed on campus with a maximum of 15LPA a minimum of 3.5 LPA while its average is around 5-6 LPA for others. But, off-campus can opt up to 35-38 LPA.

The fees were as usual as that of others government colleges it cost around 85k for non-hosteller and 14k additional for the hostel. Besides this, the college provides various scholarships program with other financial help. Along with this students were given internship offers and decent placements too.

The college campus is quite small but it has a good social life. Annual fest name encore is conducted every year with a vast celebration along with this other small fest like Parvah and sports fest are also conducted. For students, there is a vast library with a number of books which students can borrow also. The classrooms are quite good. A new sports complex is under construction for the sportspersons in college. to increase social integration colleges have a number of clubs for dance, singing, arts, etc.

Hostels are quite good with sufficient space for three persons. you are provided with a table and chair, bed and cupboard. Mess food is decent in quality with consists of breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner.
