MH-CET score 80. Needed Mechanical engineering. But it wasn't possible to get a college in the city with my score. And i did not personally choose for this college. It was assigned to me in 2 round of CAP.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

Course curriculum is very poorly planned. They give so much to write that there is hardly any time for extra activities. Also they try to focus wholely on the syllabus only. Zero support for Research. I personally experienced it when i had an idea for our last year project and our project guide totally discouraged me.

Internships Opportunities

No the college does not provide internship, whatsoever. Please do not believe what they say while taking admission.

Placement Experience

1

For our department which was Mechanical, there were very few companies that came for campus. To be exact the number is 3. And out of 120 students only 20 got placed. But for IT and Computer there were far more companies and almost 50% of students got placed.

College Events

1

The college is most active during the events. There are some inter college events. But there is not much other college crowd since the college is located in rural area. Every department has their own different event which i feel need to be united. Still the events lacks the spark that is need in an event.

Fees and Financial Aid

E-scholarship provide by Maharashtra government is applicable. You have to talk to the Student section office for further details. Loan facility is also provided.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is good and can be helpful if you keep in contact with them. Senior students can help you with your projects or understanding a particular subject.

Exam Structure

Exams and labs are not that frequent. With the Pune university's new 30-70 pattern. There is hardly any time for college to complete syllabus. The first exam which we call In-sem is within 2 month of start of semester which has the first 3 units. The End-sem exam is 3 months after that which has all units. In-sem is a bit hectic but the end-sem has 1 prep day after each paper.

Admission

Admission process was normal CAP round process conducted by DTE. First we had to verify our documents to the nearest ARC centre in the city. The after a month of results the CAP round starts. We have to assign 30 colleges of our choice. I was assigned this college in the 2nd CAP round.

Faculty

1.5

There were some qualified faculty which were really interested in educating pupils. But most of them left because the college was unable to provide their salary in time. They were paid once in 3 months. The faculty which is now present understands the students pain but the new HOD disagrees with problems and changes.
