Remarks
Pros : Best infrastructure, good faculty support, good engineering environment, best hostel in campus, Affiliated to BPUT.Cons : Poor placement. In GEC on campus placement is not that good and actually it's below average because good companies that visits this college for hiring students is very less. I have seen companies like cavisson system, infinite solution, tech Mahindra visited our college. College management is also average in terms of participation in various events like hackathon, entrepreneurship development etc.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is according to the University i.e BPUT, it is good. One can become a good Engineer after passing from this college as it has all the infrastructure, laboratory, library for learning and it's application.Academics depends on teachers', so the teachers are average some of them are good. Faculties are well experienced and they can guide you to good future.
Placement Experience
Average package : 4-5 lakhs. As i have said previously that means some years back GEC was good in terms of placement and it was better but the present scenario is average cavisson system, infinite solution these types of companies visit every to this college and they hire students with an average package of 3.5 to 5 lpa.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee Structure is good as compared to the things you are getting from the college. The college campus is very beautiful and also the campus building itself attracts various students to study in this college, Good laboratory, huge library, central mess, food is average. Attached wash room in every room in hostel with in the campus. They provide scholarship to toppers on the basis of 10 and 12th marks and also the basis of jee score.As i have said campus jobs is average.
Campus Life
Life at GEC campus is awesome. It was best years of my life. As i said anybody can easily impressed by the campus building and infrastructure. Campus is loaded with all required facilities like lawns, libraries, gym, basketball court, playground, central canteen or mess etc. Every year it conducts various functions like tech fest, annual sports etc. GEC will make your four years awesome that you will never forget.
