Remarks

I have taken as a direct student. Just enter the college and went to the admissions cell. They tell me the fees structure and then they showed me the campus cafeteria hostel, etc. Minimum marks should be 50 percent and there is no minimum age for admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen Mechanical, as it gives me a wide opportunity than other streams. Most of the faculty are NITS and have done M. Tech. And a few from iits. Every month there is an internal exam and 1 pre university test every 6 months.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

1 Lakh every year + 8000 University exams fees( paid directly by students to aktu University). There is no hike in fees. Fee waiver students have to pay 20000 INR Per year. You can go opt for scholarships. 1st UP scholarships for UP students. 2nd National scholarships for all over India can avail.

Campus Life

Annual fest usually in March. And some fest like sports, hackathons, cultural are organised randomly. Even fresher parties can go up and down. Fully ventilation air class. FOR 1st year, the class will be Air Conditioned. Mostly every fest is run by students.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (4th year). Few companies visit VBSPU for placements, and most are mass recruiters offering IT support and sales-related roles. Since placement opportunities are limited, only a small percentage of students secure on-campus jobs. Average Package: ~ 3-3.5 LPA Many students rely on off-campus placements through LinkedIn, referral hiring, or applying directly to companies. RECM - Underrated but a great future ahead.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to appear for placement from seventh semester. In Civil Engg Dept 40 students enrolled for campus placement and 28 students were offered jobs till the final semester. L&T Infra, Tata Steel, Prism Cement, ACC Cement are some of the prime recruiters. Highest package offered was 7.5 lpa , lowest 4.2 lpa and median was 5.5 lpa. Profiles offered were Project Associate ,BIM Engineer, Site Supervisor, Area Head (Sales). 70% of students got placed in the first batch of this college from civil engg dept. Currently I am serving as Junior Engineer at DFCCIL (Railways).

If you talk about the admission process you can take admission directly or by counselling ( aktu counselling).
