Genuine review

I have written the srmjee exam. So I got a rank of 6k. So my admission process was on the first day. Actually, on the first day, people having below 10k ranks got seats. The admission process is simple. Before going to admit they will ask us to bring mark sheets of srm jee, inter board exams. And tc and all and then we should wait still until our turn comes then have to submit our files. Then we will be sent to a room where we have to select our branch after that . have to submit a dd of two lakh fifty thousand rupees along with a ten thousand dd as admission fees. So after submitting that dd our seat will be reserved and we got admission for College. And for this admission process, we can go to any srm branch. it's not mandatory that if we want admission to a certain branch. Then we have to go to that branch admission. For people who gets an srm jee rank below a hundred, they will be given a hundred percent scholarship. And above 10 k rank people for cse 1 lakh extra fees.

The main reason that I choose this course is that artificial intelligence and machine learning is the trending course and it is the top branch in our college. The faculty to students ratio is 1:10 for every 10 students there will be one faulty. Most of the faculty members have a qualification of PhD from anna university Chennai. Some lectures are from IIT colleges and we also have some special electives where foreign or overseen lectures will teach us. Some professors will teach us very well but at the same time, some professors will just read the ppts as it is. We actually have three exams which are called cts before sem exam. For ct1 the exam will be conducted for twenty five marks and the syllabus is just unit 1 whereas for ct2 the exam is conducted for fifty marks and the syllabus is unit two and three. For ct3 it's for hundred marks and the syllabus is all units up to five and this ct3 exam is like a university model exam and finally last is university exams also known as sem exams.

In our college there will be so many companies coming for internships and some companies offers a stipend of up to ninety thousand for two months and some internships they will offer a stipend of ten thousand a month but all of it depends on how well u attempts the exam there are so many ways u can get an Internship the roles offered are related to the technical background only. I have done a small project in which we created a front end for a website with our own theme.

From Semester five they will conduct exams so interested students can write but in the fifth semester mostly there will be interviews for internships. It is not so easy to crack it will be just like a job internship there will be so many rounds u have to clear all those rounds. But mostly the placement exams will be conducted for the final. Year students that are on their sixth semester but some people will be placed in the pre final year itself. Companys like amazon, Microsoft, intel etc will come for on campus placements and I have recently attended the fidelity company pre internship exam in that for the first round it is verbal and in the second round there will be technical questions where these two rounds will be MCQ s only and for the third round they will give us two coding questions and for the last round there will be two questions where we have to write algorithms. And people who are selected in this they will be called for an interview where there will ask technical questions and coding.

The fees structure is based on srmjee rank for first years, people who all secure a rank below hundred they will get a hundred percent scholarship and this scholarship applies to all years still if they secure a cgpa above nine for all semesters but due to this online classes, they have increased the cgpa to 9.5 so people who secure above 9.5 in all semesters will get a hundred percent scholarship for the entire BTech. People who secure a rank below a thousand will get a scholarship of fifty percent of tuition fees and people who secure below two thousand five hundred ranks will get a scholarship of twenty-five percent on tuition fees. And all these scholarships will be available for all years only if they get a cgpa of above 9.5 and from the second year, they can get a special scholarship based on their academic performance and for people who are having a ninety percent or above in inter board and having an srm jee rank below ten thousand will get a scholarship of sixty thousand.

We actually have two major fests one is a technical fest and the other is a cultural fest. Every odd semester we will have a technical fest named Aarush in this fest people from other colleges also participates in this some sessions regarding technical will be held there are so many committees s and each committee will conduct their workshops to enhance the skills and there will be some paid s well as free workshop and there will be some technical games and to participate in all these we have to buy a pass and it will be for three days and first and second day night s we have a singing shows where a celebrity will come to amd sings and last day we had a comedy night show. And every even semester we have a cultural fest named millan where all cultural related sessions will be held there will be DJ nights in the playground and some dance and singing shows in the auditorium. Every day one celebrity comes to inauguration it will be for three days and everything will be conducted by students only.

The hostels booking will be online . They will give us the starting date to book a certain hostel on that day onwards booking will be started it is based on first come first serve . if u want a room of your desire then u have to book so fastly like its very hard for peoples to get the same room like the booking starts the rooms will be filled ao fastly . And the fees structure and facilities will be according to the type of hostel u choose . In Meenakshi hostel its for only first year students and in that one room will be shared with three people and all rooms are non ac if u are using any electrical appliances then u have to pay an extra fee of ten thousand and every day for breakfast there will be two varieties along with bread and butter and there will be milk and coffee and for lunch there will. Be chapattis or porata and rice with three different types of curries and buttermilk and coming to snacks there will.be one vareity along with milk and coffee at night u ll have dinner.
