Overview of my Foundation

Hey My percentile in JEE was not good so there was no chance to apply through it. Then there comes CET in which I score good but not great so got SSGMCE's CSE branch. Yes, I availed a quota and its name is Tuition and Exam fees to OBC students through CAP rounds of DBT Maharashtra gov. For availing of this quota first you must be selected through CAP round in college, then you must be an OBC student and then he or she must be a resident of Maharashtra with less than 8 lacs annual income. This Scholarship will reduce the Exam and Tuition fee by 50%. The admission criteria for the program is that you must complete twelfth with min 75%. And must score 90 percentile or above in CET to get admission in SSGMCE CSE department. The admission process is After allotting college through CAP round first collect all the original documents required, then take the allotment letter and document to the college on counseling day. Then fill the required forms in college pay the fee take confirmation letter and submit

I choose CSE because I like to solve problems using computers and it is the first choice of every student and fortunately I got decent marks so I go for this course. The faculty-student ratio in our college is very satisfactory for our CSE department there are 18 teachers out of which 8 are Ph.D. holders and we are 70 students so the ratio is 1:4. All the teachers are highly qualified with minimum qualification of BE degree and 8 teachers are Ph.D. holders in our department. Talking about teaching then every professor gives their 100% , some professors are mindblowing and give a different perspectives to understand the concept. They complete the portion on time. Due to Covid one semester was completed in 3 months and in between that there were 3 unit tests, 1 practical test and 1 Viva test. Unit tests are towards the Hard side so that we can perform good in Semesters Exam, Viva is easy but for that, you must know the concept. Overall it becomes difficult to cope with so many subjects but with time we get used to it

I did not apply for any internship up till now but I will be excited to work with collegedunia if they give me an internship related to Content Writing. OK now let's jump to the current topic I was selected as a Campus Business Manager at Prepbites but there is no stipend only they give Points.

In our college from 7th-semester students become eligible for campus placement. TCS and Tech Mahindra are the companies that actually visit our campus but our college has many recruiters like TCS Persistent Accenture Cognizant Bristle Cone HBSC KPIT Cummins HDFC Bank Torrent Tulip Axis Bank ICICI Bank Byjus and many others. The highest package in 2019 was 32 Lacs per annum by Byjus and the average package is 5 lac per annum. I have no plans right now as I now completed my first year and now heading towards my core subjects in 2nd year.

The fees here are Rs 120000 per year which is really expensive but campus hostel and mess are at a very affordable price of Rs30000 per year. Yes you can get different Scholarship from Maharashtra government if selected from the CAP round then OBC and EWS students get 50% off on Tuition and Exam fees SC-ST students get 100% off on Tuition and Exam fees VJNT students also get scholarships. And if you are in the top 3 in MHTCET in your Department then you will get 100% off in Tuition and Exam fees through Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme.

Pursuit is National level Annual fest of our college and it is in the month of March, April. Talking about the library then it is best the library in Vidharbaha region of Maharashtra in which there is more than 91007 number of referral books. More than 29913 number of Titles more than 3160 number of periodicals and also Online material. There are digital classrooms with every class having projectors. The boards are big and the desk benches are comfortable. Our campus has 18 acres of a vast sports complex in which there are courts and grounds for every game , gym and yoga hall are the cherry on cake. Many students compete for university games and our college wins so many trophies and color court in it. There are many clubs for technical non-technical and personality development like Team Xtreme NSS SAE IEEE student chapter ISTE student chapter E cell Cultural council ITSA MESA ESSA CSESA ACM and many other clubs for overall development.
