No entrance exam during my time. In back days, engineering admissions were based on 12th Physics Chemistry & Maths score. As per the merit list, I got admission to Mechanical Engineering.
Course Curriculum Overview
Basically the course curriculum is declared by the university for every year along with recommended reference books. The course faculty suggest the good reference book through-out the course for various topics. Apart from this college library and the internet are the best available choices during those days.We approached the faculties directly face to face as well as over email communication.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, college provided internship for me. They had tied-up with manufacturing industries for the internship. During our time the stipend varied from Rs.3000 to Rs.6000.
College Events
There used to be wide range of events, sports organised in college. The exam structure was as per Shivaji University, which is common for all the colleges in the university. There used to be exam schedule declared atleast 3 months before, so students get enough time to prepare. Also college helps students to prepare for exam via group learning and other 24 hours open facilities such as classrooms, libraries as study places.

Admission
In back days, engineering admissions were based on 12th Physics Chemistry & Maths score. As per the merit list, there will be choice based admission to all the colleges in Shivaji university. Initially, you need to give multiple choices across the universities. If you get admission then fine, otherwise you need to visit the base university i.e. the University of HSC for further admission process.
Faculty
College faculties were highly educated and were subject matter experts doing research in the related subjects. Faculties were easily available for students and always willing to help, guide. The best part was, if in case any student faced the difficulty in any topic, faculties prefer to showcase real time examples, lab experiments and via referring the wide range of reference books.
