Good choice to pursue higher studies from BIT Noida

I applied for the BCA course at BIT Noida Campus. The admission procedure for BCA is quite simple. There's an entrance exam generally comprising of basic questions of intermediate level. According to the score, the institute offers admission to its various extension campuses. If some of the seats are vacant till the last, the institute may provide admission on a merit basis. The criteria for the BCA program is 60% or above percentage in 12th with Computer Science or Maths. Once you clear the exam, you just need to visit the campus for document verification. We had 15 day-long orientation program too in the college to get an overview of the campus. Overall, it's simple to grab a seat in BIT Noida, you just need to prepare well for the entrance exam.

I opted for the BCA course as its majority syllabus focuses on almost every aspect of Computer Science which never goes out of trend. Faculties at BIT Noida are quite experienced, student-friendly, and knowledgeable of course. Most of the faculties have master's and doctorate degrees. The campus maintains a good faculty-student ratio too. Faculties try their level best even in online classes during the pandemic. For semester exams, I would say if you listen to the teachers in the classroom, you can easily score well instead of mugging up at the last moment.

College provides decent opportunities for placements, but I didn't get any internship opportunities though they offer summer internship opportunities to deserving students, I have no idea about stipends as they didn't provide the internships maybe due to pandemic.

For the BCA course, students become eligible for placement exams from the 5th semester. Some companies around the campus visit here for placements, like Byju's, Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum, Grapecity, Cognizant, etc. For BCA, skilled students can grab an average package of 3.5-4 LPA. For masters, it can go to 10-12 LPA. Students getting placement scores above 80% generally, however, eligibility criteria to give placement exams vary from company to company.

The average yearly fee is INR 1,40,000 for the BCA course. Institute provides scholarships each year to meritorious students. The college is also having an associated UCO Bank for financial assistance and education loan and helps to get loans in every possible way. In the last year of the program, they provide decent placement opportunities too, having an average package of 4-5 LPA after BCA.

I didn't get much opportunity to enjoy the campus life due to the pandemic, though I spent almost 1 year on the campus. College equally focuses on extracurricular activities too, with academics. It is having various student clubs such as Literary, Photography, News and Publication, Dramatic, Dance, Cultural, etc. Campus organizes Annual Fest and Annual Sports Fest as major events. My favorite place on the campus was a library, due to its beauty and peace from the outside world. Librarians are also student-friendly and it is having a sufficient amount of books on almost every subject and interest. It is also equipped with well-groomed computer labs with a seating capacity of around 50 students which is necessary as I saw as a BCA student.
