All about "ICFAI BUSINESS SCHOOL"

I have applied for few colleges like amity, joseph and christ. I have got admission in all but at the end, I chose ICFAI BUSINESS SCHOOL because of the environment. It is located on the outskirts of Hyderabad with full of greenery and excellent faculty. There is no quota for admission in ICFAI BUSINESS SCHOOL. Here are the ICFAI BUSINESS SCHOOL admission criteria: one need to have minimum marks of 50% in the intermediate and minimum age of 17. Here is the admission process. After filling the form, they give you a date and you need to go to college on that date and give an interview to one of the faculty of ICFAI BUSINESS SCHOOL. After completing the interview there is a group discussion in front of two faculty. In the group discussion, there are 5-6 students who discuss a particular topic given by faculty. The interview was for 20 minutes and the group discussion for 30 minutes. After completing the interview and group discussion, there is the notice of students who have been qualified for the BBA program.

I chose the BBA course in ICFAI BUSINESS SCHOOL because my dream is to become an entrepreneur and the BBA program helps in becoming one successful entrepreneur. There are a total of 6 semesters in the BBA program which will be covered in three years i.e., two semesters per year. There are nearly 250 faculties in the BBA program in ICFAI BUSINESS SCHOOL and nearly 1000 students which means the faculty: student ratio is 1:4 which is quite nice. All the professors have fone PhD in their fields, in fact, no faculty has not done PhD in their field. Their teaching method is so excellent that they take current problems of different companies and explain to us about the solutions to that problem. And if we didn't understand any of the topic or chapter, we can easily ask our professor's to explain that topic again without thinking twice about what the professor will say if we ask doubt again and again. There are 2 main exams in each semester and it is not hard to pass those exams if we concentrate in every class.

There are two mandatory internships in the BBA program at ICFAI BUSINESS SCHOOL. One is to be done after the second semester and the second one after the fourth semester. Various companies were offered in both internships. The period of both the internships is a minimum of two months to a maximum of three months. The internship can be done in any field according to your interests. Different fields include marketing, finance, human resources, operations. I did my first internship in Krayonx which is the largest online growing company. My task was to increase their users and the stipend was 8,000 per month which has been done for two months. The second internship was also for two months which was done in an unschooled academy in which the stipend was 6,000 per month. My project was to promote the working of unschool academy and I have done that very nicely. In short, I have gained much knowledge while doing these internships and I have increased my networks with the help of these internships offered by the campus.

From last semester , students are eligible for campus placements. Various companies visit the college in the month of march and april, and they take interviews and give jobs. Various companies like dell, tata, deloitte have come in college and took interviews of various students to assign a job. The highest package for BBA program in ICFAI BUSINESS SCHOOL as per 2020 was 12 lakhs and average package was 5.7 lakhs per annum. All the companies come and take interviews in the months of march and April and ofder job from the month of june and July. Nearly 70% of students get job offers and average packages from these companies. My personal plan after completing the degree is to go for MBA in aboroad and come back to India and become entrepreneur. Usually many students are not interested in job after completing their BBA program, many want to study for MBA and get much more higher packages. However if one is interested in doing a job after The BA program, he can easily get that job through campus.

If we talk about the entire BBA program at ICFAI BUSINESS SCHOOL, it cost me nearly 6,90,000 for academics for three years i.e., 1,15,000 per semester. University gives us time to pay fees if we have any problem in paying fees at that time. But we need to pay the entire fee before the program ends. Many loans are easily available in ICFAI BUSINESS SCHOOL with lower interest rates. There is scholarship in high amounts, let us discuss that in detail. If one has scored more than 70% in intermediate he/she gets 80,000 scholarship in BBA program and if one score above 80% he/she gets 90,000 and if one score more than 90% hr /she gets 1,05,000 in their BBA program. There is an additional scholarship for those who have scored more than 7 cgpa in each semester. The additional scholarship ranges from 20,000 to 34,500 in each semester. I have got 2 internships jobs through ICFAI BUSINESS SCHOOL in Krayonx and Unschool academy whose stipend was 5,500 per month for two months.

There are many fests and tech fests conducted in ICFAI BUSINESS SCHOOL. In February, there is an annual fest and in December, there are competitions for co-curricular activities. In each and every month there are various competitions held which are conducted by various clubs. There are few clubs in ICFAI BUSINESS SCHOOL which are aura clubs. Arena club. Archon club, Ignite club. These are the major clubs that organize various competitions and fests every month with winners getting certificates and cash prizes. There is a huge library which contains of nearly 20,000 books which are lended by college students for a week. In each classroom, there is centralised AC with a system and projector. Campus have gyms, cricket ground, swimming pool, indoor games like carrom, chess, 8 ball pool, ping pong and many more. The clubs are run by students and each club has nearly 15 students containing a president and vice president of thta particular club.

The fee for the hostel is 80,000 per year which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. For first year students, the hostel is in attapur and for second and third year students the hostel is on-campus only. However, for girls, the hostel is on campus only for all three years. The meal provided by the college is of good quality and the food served is hot and even tastes good. However, if you are not a hostel person and you are a day scholar, the meal is available even for them at a very low cost i.e., 40 rupees which provide salad, roti, two curries, two kinds of rice, dal, sambar, and lassi. The registration process for hostel accommodation is very easy and fast. You just need to pay hostel fees while paying fees for academics and they allot you a room in the hostel. My friend has rented a room in nursing which cost nearly 30,000 per month in which 7 members could easily stay. Narsingi is a place which is very near to college and has the best rooms with the best infrastructure and environment.

The interview was for 20 minutes and they asked various questions like what was your study background and why did you want to do the BBA course and why did you select ICFAI BUSINESS SCHOOL for completing the BBA program. They even asked about my career and goals in life which contained both short-term and long-term goals. After completing the interview there was a group discussion for 30 minutes in front of two facilities. Our group discussion topic was on jet airways crisis. After completing your interview and group discussion they put your name on notice if you qualified for the BBA program at ICFAI BUSINESS SCHOOL. Coming to preparation for the interview and group discussion one needs to be very confident and know current political topics. In interviews, they see your confidence and how you answer truthfully to the questions asked. In a group discussion, they see the amount of participation you make. If you need to crack group discussion, participate and have confidence while answering.
