Remarks
Admission was smooth. The teachers were intellectual. Also, ethics and morals were valued. There was no as such minimum marks criteria. I did not avail any quota. As fees were very minimal. It is still the most famous college in the city. Uniform was compulsory and I'd card was checked at the entrance. It's a really big college and the ambience is nice.
Course Curriculum Overview
Exams were easy to pass if one had attended lectures and studied and done revision. Exams happened once in 6 months. Ie 6 semesters in 3 years. Teaching was done in local and English language as per students convenience. Faculties were highly qualified and we're at least possessing PhD degrees. Faculty to student ratio was a bit higher. Ie 1 teacher for approx 100 students.
Internships Opportunities
No idea. But tata for sure was offered coz my friend got placed there. The company was based in Pune. Also, some companies from Bangalore were offering placement. Interviews were taken on the college campus itself.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester, one gets eligible for placement. No idea about the packages. And more than 70% according to me might have been placed. I am further studying the professional course and will be going into the profession of teaching.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
I didn't go for campus placement as I didn't want to do the job further. But my friends were definitely placed in TATA and many bigger companies. They got a good stipend at the start and it increases overall with time and experience.
Campus Life
Annual fees are very much affordable. It has a huge library and one student can get the book at a time. They are given a library card. Library card needs to be maintained. Sports activities were many and also functions and festivals were celebrated.
