Likes

Campus is well maintained in terms of cleanliness
Deogiri should be the first choice while considering teaching
Safe for girls, security is strictly done

Dislikes

Exam dates changes or get postponed due to some small reasons
Parking should be more maintained some vehicle are inappropriate
There are big breaks between Timing of the class which extends the time in campus

Course Curriculum Overview

Should include more extra activities within our curriculum because apparts of traditional day and fresher party there are very less function organised. Techers pays more attention on completion of syllabus before exams

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees of this bsc course in deogiri College depends on students category for sc/st /obc students fees are between 450 - 4000 per yearly including semester exam fees for open category students bsc fees ranges in 8000- 12000

Campus Life

Our campus is often big and our security guard pays attention on outsiders aswell. Deogiri College have junior/senior canteen,gym,two auditorium and big playing grounds where the sports department see to our college players

Admission

Not any specific reason but have heard about the placement done by our college. Previous passed out students have mentioned that there are more placement opportunities compared to other colleges. My first priority was MGM college but didn't get admission their because of limitations of seats

Faculty

The faculty did great job in terms of schedule of specific function organised by senior students. Science faculty is nice compared to commerce faculty because teacher co-operate nicely with students. Exams are not that much tough

Night Life

As I mentioned in our college there are two canteen one for junior and other for senior, well maintained gym My chilling spot with my friends are not in college but just near college a cafe where we spends our free time

A good choice for bachelors study for regular BSc

Course Curriculum Overview:

The first year curriculum connects SSC and HSC syllabus making easier to approach further. The course can be divided into two as aspects of application and academic first the general theory course of animals including phylum study and the another goes with lab work techniques making it suitable for higher studying in both lab and field work. The three year course must be provided with free subject choice as per the new education policy (no compulsion for physics and chemistry) Slight improvement in planning feel experience in field tours and outcomes. Do mostly well planned but sometime the exam schedule of different subject choices students in first and second year of course can make a difficult for on time study required before exam.

Teaching methods were good by some professors but one professor taught from ppt only. 2 and half hour for each exam and 60 marks paper all subjective no mcq as such. Practical exam is 150 marks including lab work , journal, viva voce.

Remarks:

A few negative effects are debt, partying, sexual assault, missing family and friends, and stress. Being part of MIT ADT University there are some disadvantages of not being a regular student. We always need to be in our best behaviour, need to be always dressed in uniform in college function and a high penalty of suspension is followed if presented differently.
