Average college with lesser emphasising on mechanical graduates

Management is pathetic as they are partial. But one very good thing you will find here is organised work. We got to know this when we were appearing for interviews, every colleges sucks in that no management no queue no seats to make people seat but our college used to focus on all such things very carefully.

P.E.T, scored 90 marks in that, I had heard the reputation of this college prior to joining that made me opt for this college, also my friends were there as well, so that was another reason to join. They are all placed as they chose the right college with right branch, however, I chose the same college but didn't knew that this college focuses on cs candidates only.

I cannot completely defy it's academics. I met with 2 or 3 exceptional teachers. But that's it, there were only 2-3, everybody else was recently passed out graduate who didn't knew a thing and kept an attitude as if they are industry leaders.There was much emphasis on theory which is a good thing if taught by experienced people but that was not the case at all. We were only taught as if we just need to clear the examination nothing apart from that.

We were damn interested in internship but there was no support or just partial support from college for internship. Out of 180 only 6 people got internship from college just because there mentor has a factory in pithampur, rest of us has to do it on our own, I interned at reputated company called turbo Cummins but in indore no stipend is given for internship works mostly.

None at all. Only two company came I.e triveni turbine and asahi and that too was an open campus. 1200 students appeared for that and only 3 people were taken by company. That's it only 2 placements were there during whole bunch of 180 people. And I got placed in one company called brakes down from college itself, but after spending my hard earned money I went to kolkata for my joining, I got to know that this is a fake company, our college didn't even cared for our money to be spent on such foolish errands.

Technical event used to happen at our college every year, yes it was cool, but only during my first year. From second year we used to have Dj party but according to our orthodox dean it is spoiling culture and we should not indulge anything but academia only so they used to end the party at 6 PM where other college used to start party at 6.

It is quite feasible, that is the good thing about this college, they don't want you to spend unnecessarily.That was one reason why I didn't went for IIST which I got earlier and then switched to this college. I studied at 70000 per year. Out of which I used to get 10000 back as I was merit student in 12th.

Our college provide obc and SC St scholarship through mp government. Apart from that, those who scored 80 above in 12th were entitled for scholarship of 10000 per year which I used to get. You will get loan easily from any bank. I took it from Uco bank, but I would suggest not taking loan as I am facing so many problems right now.

Gender ratio is pretty decent which you can expect in engineering college. You will definitely find a great company of friends coming from diverse backgrounds.Campus life used to suck during our time but everybody makes memories in four years so somehow we enjoyed that as well, but right now our college has evolved. There are no as such frequent activities or sports, you will see such things every once in a while. You will definitely see lots of politics which will be in your favour if you are opting for cs branch as our dean belong to that branch.

Hostel stay is quite decent along with food quality but this is jail as every other college students used to refer about our college so nobody wants to stay in jail. Definitely not people like me who enjoy there freedom.Who just want a place to stay and food to eat it's best.

They are indeed helpful I made lots of mistakes so even I can be a great help to reach out if you want to know what things you are not supposed to do, I ll be great help in that as I was full of shit, I am not very fond of following rules and definitely can not lick someone's boot.

It was quite chilled out, we used to have mid sems just like any other college, however like others we didn't had games period coz according to our college only academia is important. However that scene is changing now and ours juniors are enjoying it to fullest. I hope they can do something good about this as well.

As I already mentioned the average populations in terms of teaching staff comprises of recently passed out graduates who don't know a thing.Those who were good they were immensely good. There is one teacher who opened a gate institute and he himself wasn't gate qualified.Now you can know by yourself where am I leading.
