Remarks

course admission eligibility is the student must have above 60 % in their HSC. Age is also above 17 yrs. Admission process - fill the Mumbai university form and college form. If you are selected then your name will be on the merit list. You have to go to college for verification of documents and further process.

Course Curriculum Overview

Biotechnology is better than plain bsc as well as have good job opportunities. 60 seats were there for students and 4 to 5 teachers are there. Weekly once guests lecture is there. Faculty members are highly qualified most of them are PhD holders. Teaching is understandable and interactive. Term exams were held by a gap of 4 to 5 months. Nothing to worry about exam it is not that difficult to pass.

Internships Opportunities

Different companies will come for campus interviews after completion of the course. Not have that much idea about stipend as it vary from company to company. Roles offer like a junior researcher, assistance biotechnologist in labs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Approximately 28000 - 30000 per year. And for reserved category students, they have to pay only 5000 to 6000. There are no extra fees other than this. Scholarship and freeship are available including EBC ( economically backward classes). If students are unable to pay the whole fees our college are providing installation for them.

Well worth the journey!

Course Curriculum Overview:

Parricularly the modules which focused on animal science & botany, the curriculum was built to learn from basics to the advance level towards research area of biology which impressed me alot. The focus on animal biology, statistics, cell biology & genetics, ecology & wildlife conservation, Immunology & biotechnology leads a foundation to successfully enter the real-world and apply this knowledge for better cause of humans as well as animals. As the therotical teaching method can differ from on-hand experience on field there is a need to improve the course curriculum around this issue. The learning period was designed perfectly in-course of the prepaption time between each test and it wasn't difficult if we are well prepared.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's average or below average in term of real world experience curriculum there no such thing. Teaching is not bad there are big screen in class to teach from and blackboard. But most students don't know anything about the real world projects and techniques. Syllabus is controlled by mumbai University is too told and does not have any use in real world industries which need to be changed and most important since IT sector is something which advances and changes each year

Looks Good on Paper, Fails in Practice

Course Curriculum Overview:

I\n Chose this course in specific this college.Because first of all , it was afforrable as compared to others institutes.I can say that we weren't getting any experience which can prepare us for the real world experience like we were made to sit in workshops which was not at all connected to our curriculum.And then later on, when we said we don't want to attend it.We were given lame excuses like this will help you. And we will give you certificates for this.And later on , we were given nothing. Course needs a lot of improvement.I guess because they doesn't favor student feedbacks. The exam are typically in june and depends upon ycmou college dosent have any role to it and its not that difficult with basic knowledge you can score well.

In univeral college from sem 6 students become eligible for campus placements, Name of the companies offered in placement is TATA TCS, Infotech , and etc. Highest package from our college is 10 LPA and average is 3.2 lacs per annum. 20% percent of students successfully get placed in the companies from our placement team. After getting degree i will prefer to study more with MCA two years of course and side by side business & developing webs and applications as this is my passion and motive. i will prefer business Now i am interested in python programming language and JAVA after this React JS, Node JS and PL / SQL + MONGO DB for backend programming which has no user interactions.
