Remarks

The admission procedure was done via DTE. The college accepts MHT-CET exam marks. IIn my academic year you need to have a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to be eligible to apply. There are new programs like Data Science and Computer Engineering introduced, which are very popular.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum is regularly updated in accordance with AICTE, which is much better than other universities. Teachers are supportive and ready to solve all the doubts. Seminars on industry topics are taken regularly.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 117000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are offered by different companies like Oracle, Deutsche Bank, JPMC, etc. The duration of these internships is approximately 2-4 months. The stipend offered depends on the role and company.

Placement Experience

Placements at UMIT are one of the best in Mumbai. Approximately 70% of students are placed every year. The highest package offered is 19 lakh while the average package is around 5 LPA. Companies give offers for both internships and full time jobs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for general category students is 1.17 Lakh. Different scholarships are available for those who are not able to pay the fee. The college is in Santacruz, which means there are moderate travel/hostel costs as well.

Campus Life

LIFE AT USHA MITTAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY.

i applied in difffrent colleges like ST. Francis college of engineering, borivali , Atharva college of engineering , malad etc. I didnt make it there as being a student belonging to the open category the cutoff for my desired branch was a bit higher whereas my college provided me with an opportunity to be eligibible for my desired branch.
