Life at SGI is great

The admission process was very smooth. There were some seniors for help also. I availed for the SC quota, some seats are reserved for that also. Admission criteria for B.Tech were 12th passout or having a 3 year diploma. If you have scored good marks in 12th or diploma then you can get a scholarship of 15% of your annual fee. The overall admission process was very good and even it was better than a lot of other colleges.

After 10th, I choose to go in engineering Diploma. After that B.Tech is a great choice, so I decided to go for B.Tech. Department faculty is very supportive. All they have great subject knowledge and excellent communication skills. Some of the faculty are PhD holders and some of them are pursuing PhD. In a semester, 2-time sessionals are conducted then semester exams happens. It is not that difficult to pass the exams, if you study well in classrooms then you can easily pass.

College faculty and T&P cell help for internship. During the internship period, students are offered to work under the guidance of seniors for various projects. Various project responsibilities are also given to the students. If students perform well during the internship period then internship organisation also helps in placements.

T&P cell is very active in my college. Most of the students are placed in well-known companies like TCS, Accenture, Byju's etc. The average package offered to the B.Tech CSE freshers in my college is 3.5 lakhs per annum and the highest package goes to 7 lakhs. Some of the excellent studnets are also offered a package of 13-15 lakhs also.

The course knowledge we gain here and the skills we develop in ourselves here, for that I think fee structure is okay. SC scholarship is also provided. Internship help is provided to the students by T&P cell. Summer training programs are also conducted by the college. From time to time industrial visits and workshops are also organized. By the end of the degree, you will be confident about your industry skills and knowledge.

Life at the campus is amazing. The campus is very large and very neat clean. Every year an annual fest is organised and some cultural events are performed there. Every fest is also celebrated here. On campus, there is a 24*7 library facility. Around 18000 books are available there in the library. Annual sports meet is also organised in the month of Feb.

If you see the hostels then you will not think of rental accommodation. A hostel facility is provided here. The hostels are newly constructed with all the facilities. The hostel mess is very neat and clean. Proper hygiene is maintained. The food quality is also good. 24*7 power supply with backup generators is in the hostel. The purified drinking water is also available. Washing machines and geezers are also there in every hostel. It's a great experience to spend 3 years here.
