The college management has to improve the time table, scheme and structure a bit more.

GATE 2015, Score 400 I preferred SOIT, RGTU as I found it the best institution amongst the M.P. state level institutes as of now.

The entire scheme and syllabus is different from the University curriculum. The management is separated from the RGTU. It is being handled by the HOD and the senior professors of the SOIT RGTU. All the decisions are internally taken and are isolated from the University.

The college has recently offered the internship for PG students who can do the teaching for UG students along with their masters degree. This is quite a well decision for those students who can earn along with their studies. The timing for their classes and teaching is set by the management.

As the college is the autonomous college under the University itself which affiliates most of the institutes in the entire state, Madhya pradesh, there are a list of many Multi National Companies which are regularly or once visit here for campus recruitment and training programs.

As the college is within the campus of the university, there are many kinds of celebrations organized by the institute. There are many extra curriculum activities made to be done by the students. In an year, some cultural events are also organized. The institute also celebrates its foundation day every year.

The fee structure is quite good as it is a government undertaken organization, so there is no chance of any kind of incorrect fee structure. The fee structure is predefined as semester basis. For every semester, the fee components are different as per the institutes norms.

As I had taken the admission via GATE (General Aptitude Test in Engineering), there is a government scheme for all the students so that they earn a monthly stipend. The scholarship has reached up to about 12 k per month for current year batch.

The campus is huge as the state level University is located in here. It is quite enough for thousands of students for study, and roaming around in the spare time. There is a good canteen where the students can hang up for a fresh time pass. In my batch, the no. of female students is much higher than the male ones.

I didn't opt for the hostel as I am a locallied person but some of my classmates and batchmates, whom are staying in the hostel has told me that the living conditions, facilities and food are just okay in the hostel. The hostel is located within the university campus.

We are having a regular interaction with our senior students and many of the information are useful to us that we got from them.

It was a bit good as the faculty is organizing the lab sessions for better understanding of the subject and topic and practical knowledge and concepts. Those lab sessions are mandatory to attend even for those students who usually prefer to skip the theory classes occasionally or on regular basis.

A separate counseling was organized by the management as it is an autonomous college. The registration form fillup, screening, document verification and all the necessary details are there. In case, any candidate got left or he/she has got late in the procedure, there is an option for college level counseling.

The faculties are recruited by the University. Those are qualified as per the University as well as the Government norms. These are having the requisite educational qualifications and certifications for teaching profession and technical studies. There are sufficient no. of faculty as needed for the department.
