Remarks
I applied to Kharagpure college in chemistry Hons (Bsc) but I didn't choose that college because I preferred microbiology Hons. So I took admission to Midnapore College. This college follows the government reservation system. Admission criteria are you have to score a minimum of 45 in biology, physics chemistry in each in 12th examination. In medinpore college, direct admission systems are followed for admission in this course.
Course Curriculum Overview
I preferred microbiology because I am very interested in this subject since my 10th standard. And I choose this college because this college promise to provide good facilities and the department of microbiology is also reputed for academic performance. The professors are also very highly qualified and very well respected in their fields. The exam schedule of the course is very good and well organised it is based on the semester's System. Total 6 semester exams are organised by the college for BSc course in 3 years. And between two semesters there is 6 month gap.
Fees and Financial Aid
This course is financially expensive. It's is a lab base subject for this the fess is high. In a semester students have to pay nearly 11000 rupees to the college as admission fees. The students can be claimed any government scholarships in which they are applicable like Vikas Bhavan, minority, etc. They fully cooperate with the students in scholarship matters
Campus Life
A fest is organised in college in a year. And also a science exhibition also organised annually. Students can enjoy and participate in many indoor games and also participate in the college annual sports.
