Remarks

The criteria for admission is very simple, you should be a graduate with 50% aggregate Marks, they also consider CAT/MAT scores and on the basis of that, they select students. For the admission, they consider 75% of your CAT/MAT Score + how you performed in GD/PI and 25% is your academics.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Like any other student, I also thought by doing MBA there will be more career options and at the end of it, I'll be placed in a well-reputed company. That's why I chose MBA over anything. The faculty is nice and highly educated. I have seen professors preparing for their lectures so no doubt they put in lots of effort.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I did my internship at Internshala. 3-4 companies visited our campus for the internship programme. The students went through a GD / PI round and based on their performance they got selected. I remember HDFC gave Rs 5000 as a stipend for the 2-month summer internship.

Placement Experience

2.5

I did my specialization in human resources and I was really disappointed when not even a single company visit our campus for the recruitment of an HR. So I had to apply off-campus. The average package that companies offer here is Rs 3.5 Lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

I certainly don't know about the fee hike policy but one thing is sure that every year there is a certain percentage of hike in fees but it's not too much, it's somewhere between 5-10%. University provides various scholarship opportunities for PG and PHD students.

Campus Life

4

Jammu University is famous for its library, good faculty and affordable food. Campus life here is nice, however, they don't host a fest like other universities. IN TBS you'll have your separate library and computer labs as well, classrooms have all the basic amenities so need not worry about anything. However, there's no WIFI in the department and that's the biggest problem.

Interview Experience

4

It's one of the main steps to get admission. You'd need to go through a GD and PI round in order to get admission here. GD is actually fun, you'll get an opportunity to showcase what you're and your thought process. So prepare well for GD and after that, they conduct a Personal Interview.
