Remarks

The admission process was superb. The cap rounds were filled in the college itself. The college administration helped me a lot in this process. Thereafter filling the z form at VJTI I was admitted to Vidyalankar Polytechnic. The process was quick.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty is superb. Each and every teacher to the designated subjects are extremely helpful may it be studying, projects or career guidance. In and out of the classroom the teachers are very helpful. The college follows the Maharashtra board (MSBTE).

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 66000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I was offered an internship by TIFR as a web developer. I worked for 8 months and gained some great knowledge. As industrial training is a must for final year students you are likely to be placed as an intern also some well-known companies give opportunities to students offering them time-bound project's on which the students are hired as interns.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are slightly high but given the infrastructure of the college and everything I guess it's great. Yes, there is financial assistance for students in the caste category as well as EWS and students seeking out for financial aid. The campus starts in the 6th semester though many people opt for the degree after Diploma so job availability is more with a number of students less.

Campus Life

You would garner a great club of people in this college. From nerds to typical social all people could be found here as well as there are communities for sports education singing literature etc . There are competitions 12 months on which you can participate and an extremely good fest 'Verve' followed by sports events.V club v Clarion etc are the social group's. All classrooms+ labs are Fully ac also there's a huge library with books for all courses.

Pros and cons of studying in private colleges.

Placement Experience:

From the semester 6th, students were eligible for applying placements (diploma mandatory rules), companies like TATA Steel, MotherSon Automotive Technologies, and GE Aviation, Visited and the estimated number of offers made was around 20, the highest package was offered by MotherSons Automotive Technologies from 18K per month and the average packages wiggle between 10-12K a month. Around 20% of students were successfully placed and 15% were able to pass the 6th semester to work for the companies. After my diploma, I'll continue my studies by applying for B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

Placement Experience:

From the sixth semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Various types of companies have come to our college, like Schneider, L & T, Tata Power, etc. The highest package offered is 4.5 lakhs per annum, which is offered by Schneider Electric. The average annual salary is 2.7 lakhs. Almost 30% of students are placed at my college. My plan after getting my degree is to do some business.

Best memories of my College

Placement Experience:

From 5Th semester students become eligible for placement because our diploma course is of 3 years only. I visited lot of companies even big companies like Wipro, TCS , Cognizant etc. Highest package provided to me was 25k and lowest package is 15k. Almost 30% of students got placement from our college in that year. I have a lot of plans after getting the degree but I cannot persue due to financial problem.

Remarks:

Overall AI-ARKP is an EXCELLENT institute, no doubt. There are continuous feedback programs, excellent faculty (mostly), good basic facilities, a calm surrounding environment, and more. AI-ARKP is a better choice also because here comparatively well-dressed ladies come to study. Other institutes, well their ladies apparently don't have a sense of how to dress correctly and how not to cause societal corruption. The institute is ought to take strict actions against students who cheat and fraud during exams. This will elevate the nobility status of the entire organization. Finally, many changes will probably happen in the institute and with this do, we hope that the negatives will be wiped out and the positives will be further strengthened. Vidyalankar Polytechnic, The Best in Mumbai

I applied to literally every top Polytechnic colleges in Mumbai. I had a confirmed admiiin Kala Vidyamandir, Malad but it's a really really bad college and its in the middle of nowhere. I chose VP over all colleges as it is the best polytechnic college in Mumbai. It has unmatched amenities. Even SBMP, Vile Parle which is triple the fees has lesser amenities. I got rejected from other colleges due to less marks in 10th grade. Saraswati Polytechnic, Kharghar offered a donation seat but we are very against this. The admission process is quite easy. We have to apply to it through CAP rounds which is a centralised admission process by Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra. They also have a facilitation centre built in to guide you through the process and verify documents. They also have an institute quota based on merit for admission. The cutoff is 85% but I have seen students with about 75-80% too in the college....Read More
